This song made me miss my boo so much! And come to find out...he also had been listening to it in Naija, and we both couldnt believe we were "being sad" to the same song!

When I first met my hubby, he used to sing this song to me. And I thought it was sooooooooooo sweet! Then when I went to Naija I got hear the song and see the video. Now it brings tears to my eyes when I listen to it. I MISS HIM SO MUCH

Great thread! When I was in Naija we always had the video channel on (when we had power!) and I fell in love with so many songs! The music is amazing. I had to buy several CD's before I left, and hubby bringing more when he comes. Besides "African Queen" this was another of my favorite songs.

Wonderful news!

I sent a card to my hubby in Naija, back in November 2006! And to this day he has never recieved it! I sent it without telling him...and he later told me never to send anything thru regular mail because of where he lives. He said that if u live in an area that isnt near businesses or is too far out from major streets, the mail won't be delivered because they don't want to have to look for an address they are not familiar with. If he had known I had sent it he could have gone the postal office...but even then it gets thrown in with hundreds of other mail and may be impossible for them to find. They also go thru mail and steal stuff, or throw it out. When I send him stuff thru Fedex or DHL...I always send it to his dad's office which is in a business district, and I have never had a problem with him getting it.
