  1. Hey! Have any June 2022 filers received their case number from NVC yet? NOA(1) June 10, 2022 NOA(2) July 03, 2023 currently still waiting. I submitted an inquiry a week ago and haven’t heard anything yet.
  2. Got our approval today! noa1: June 10, 2022 noa2: July 3, 2023
  3. Got our approval today! noa1: June 10, 2022 noa2: July 3, 2023
  4. Wow, my recited date was June 9,2022. Mine is showing July 15-19, 2023 as estimated date.
  5. I surely hope it doesn’t take 13 months. With all the news about USCIS trying to speed up processing times I’m optimistic that maybe it will speed up our time at least a few months. We shall see though, I’m preparing myself for 13 month wait.
  6. Hahaha well here’s to hoping California magically improves there processing time I am optimistic that things will start improving over the next year. Maybe we can reap some benefits.
  7. So I don’t have a bad criminal background, but I did have misdemeanor charge I submitted…I guess that didn’t merit criminal background haha. Isn’t Vermont the one with the oddly low processing times??
  8. Yup just got my text today! Looks like mine will be processed at California service center sin WAC were first 3 letters. Interesting be cause I heard Kentucky petitioners get processed at Texas service center.
  9. I mailed my I-129F out 06/08/2022 Package delivered by UPS 06/10/2022 Today, 06/13/2022 The $535 charge just hit my credit card. Now patiently waiting my NOA1. Will I receive that through mail/text/email? For reference I am US Petitioner, petitioning for my Mexican beneficiary.
  10. Can’t answer your question. But I just wanted to connect, I also filed in June! I haven’t received NOA1 yet, my package was just delivered yesterday to the lockbox. Best of luck I hope everything works out for you all!
  11. Thank you! And yea that’s a good point about the smaller ones being processed first. But if I had to guess they select them totally at random with respect to the date they were mailed in. Although it wouldn’t be a bad experiment to keep record of all those who submitted longer than normal petitions and compare their processing times to processing time of “normal sized” petitions. I think honestly though it just comes down to the complexity of each individuals case. I think things like criminal records, complicated divorces, and things like that take more effort and time to process than someone who had a clean record, no kids, no divorces, and no other reason to submit extra info. Anyway hopefully they are actually doing something to stay on track for the new “processing time goals” they made for the end of 2023. These waiting times are stressful.
  12. Yea I definitely considered that. I ended up shortening it by about 30 pages before mailing it out. The good thing is it was all very organized, and easy to read. Despite the fact that it may be twice the size of some people’s I doubt it will take twice the time to review. Some evidence just took up more pages like criminal record (14 pages), passport (16 pages), and flipping through 16 pages of photos can’t be too strenuous. At the end of the day I was trying to be thorough and include everything they would need. Because yea I could have tried to make it 30 pages but if they then have to RFE that makes more paperwork and more time for me and USCIS. It’s a lot easier for USCIS to disregard a few pages they don’t need than it is for them to request more information and put my file on hold.
  13. She is from Mexico. Honestly I’m not sure if it is high fraud..I don’t know. I am really not concerned about being denied i just don’t want any RFE’s to further extend our wait time.
  14. Everything in 9 is unnecessary?? That her passport and birth certificate? I don’t understand lol
  15. Ok cool. Sounds like i can trash all the bank statements nice. I was just putting those in because i had no receipts from spending other than hotels and flights. Maybe i should trash the text messages too? I was just trying to show more than just hotel, flights, and photos together. I leave all 16 pages of photos. I know it seems like a lot, but i have visited her and her family a lot and I basically made a page for each visit. I think it is great evidence. True i will consider that and try to shorten it up.
  16. Nice, thanks! That’s a great she arrived yesterday congrats to you both. How long did it take?
  17. Well I finally finished and the paper work (I hope so), and tomorrow I will mail my petition for alien fiancé! I am very exited, but also very anxious. I did my best to complete all my forms properly, and submit all necessary evidence. My petition was a total of 120 pages. I think it was a little longer than most because i had to submit a 11 page document for an old citation, and i submitted all my hotels, itineraries, and bank statements for my last 9 trips I took to visit my fiancé over the past 2 years. Any last words of advice? Or suggestions? I hate sending it off because I always feel like I a forgetting something. But i am very eager to get my first notification. I’m going to copy my cover letter on here. If anyone is willing to read over it and let me know what you think I would greatly appreciate it. _________________________ RE: I-129F Petition for alien fiancé(e) Original Submission Dear USCIS officer, I am the petitioner XXXX filing this I-129F petition for my alien fiancé XXXX for your review. 18. Yea that’s what i am going to do. I have typed up a letter briefly explaining my arrest. And then explained my attempt to obtain my records. I attached my location record to show i was at the building for over an hour since there if really no other way to prove i was there. I also attached the name, address, and contact info of the location where the arrest occurred, and where the hold all their records. Hopefully this will suffice.
  19. Yea i thought maybe the Mexican police certificate would be an option but that seems to only be for Mexican citizens…I’m not sure what to do. I feel like if i just tell them what happened and that I couldn’t get the documents they could run their own backround check on me and find it. And if they don’t find it then it doesn’t seem like it would be a big deal. I just don’t want to get an RFE for not submitting proper documentation.
  20. I am US Citizen Petitioner for my Mexican Citizen Beneficiary. I am working on submitting my criminal history. I have one old charge for underaged drinking which i have gathered all the certified documents for. I only have one other arrest. This is where my problem is…. I was arrested in Mexico 2 years ago for drinking in public. I went to the place in Playa Del carmen where I was arrested to try to obtain the certified documents. The women working there said they do not keep records after 6 moths on arrests. Ok fine. I then asked if she could give me a letter stating that they have no record for my arrest, to which she refused and said they don’t do that. What should I do now? Submit a letter explaining my situation? I really have no other way of obtains my record unless you guys have other suggestions. I don’t want to not say anything because i know that it will probably come up on a government background check. Should i just write a letter sating my situation and hope that is good enough? I don’t want them to say i lied about my record. it was a very small sketchy jail in a very corrupt town. They made me and my friends pay about $200US in cash each to get out. I do remember them writing all our info and taking finger prints and photos so it must be on record somewhere.
  21. When you say I may avoid being asked biometrics I’m assuming you mean for me to also submit the criminal background check with my petition?
