My fiancé already went to Cairo and he got it that same day…. So that part is done…. I am actually on my way to Cairo right now!! So hopefully we can finish all before I leave and send the packet in.. hopefully you have in luck Qena !!

Sadly, no we didn’t hear from them. There was one person I seen on here that had a NOA2 of June 16 that got their case number and is in transit… yup, we are at 62 days now, I can’t find anywhere that Cairo is backlogged…. So this leads me to believe it was USCIS who took FOREVER to send our the cases to NVC…

We are NOA1 May 10, 2021; NOA2 June 16, 2022… I called USCIS on August 2nd to see if our approved petition had been transferred to NVC yet, and all the agent would say is it can take up to 90 days and she couldn’t see when or if it was sent. so I sent an email to NVC research on August 5th and they responded that it had been received and will send the case number soon. So fingers crossed 🤞 that we get the in transit email next week! Would you keep us updated on your progress with the Embassy and timelines?

NVC welcome letter receipt timeframe?

Currently it is taking 45-60 days for USCIS to forward some approved petitions to NVC. Mine is currently going on 50 days with no case # yet. The say to give 30 days to inquire about your case at NVC. If NVC holds your petition for 60 days or more they will send you an email with your case # and let you know that your embassy has a backlog. Your notice will come Via petitioner email and they will give further instructions for the next steps. -
I’m not sure either… I was wondering the same thing? Maybe because it wasn’t on the secure inquiry form?? or maybe it’s there but not created yet?????

When did you send this inquiry? I sent to the same email address 3 days ago.. and haven’t gotten a response. So, I’m still unsure if NVC has even received our petition from USCIS..☹️ UPDATE:: I just received the same email the our petition is at NVC, it is the exact same email you received..

I hope we will all be in transit in 2 weeks.. I just don’t understand, they should have a way to track where our petition is at all times… 🧐but I shall try to be patient…

Okay so that time frame is coming up for me then, but we shall see…. It seems this research one they were responding to people in a couple days…. But I have no faith in any response….All I want to know if it is at NVC and we are waiting on Cairo to request more cases….

Yes I sure did, but the 1st one I sent as soon as USCIS approved our petition I put the wrong WAC#. And didn’t realize it, soooo I submitted another one with the right# but that was I think the first week of July… I sis send an email to the NVC research one I was telling you about. So we shall see if they respond… when was your NOA2?

How in the world do they not have it??? there are some that were approved in July and they are already in transit???

I sure will let you know! every step in this process has been hurry up and wait..the waiting wouldn’t be so bad if they would just be transparent about if they received our case yet or not. . BUT by this point I’m tired of the wait. He’s worth it though! 😜 Been waiting since May 10,2021

There is an email someone was talking about in the May filers group on FB for the NVC, and they were able to get there case #.. and it took a couple days for a response they said.. NVCResearch@state.gov In the subject line put your WAC # , petitioners full name and date of birth. and then attach a photo of your approval letter. I just did this today, so we shall see…

Nope 👎 I am so disappointed. I called USCIS to see if they could tell me if our case was sent to NVC yet, and of course she said she wasn’t sure but to give it 90 days. 🙄 so that was a wasted call… I think our cases are sitting at the NVC waiting on the Cairo embassy to request them to be sent… at least that’s what I’m telling myself… lol guess it’s another 2 weeks of waiting… I am so ready for my fiancé to be here with me… 💜

A AM do you follow others that are farther along in this process than we are? Will the embassy send packet 2 with all of the instructions for visa fees, ds-160. I-134, medical? This has been a bit confusing for me, I just don’t want him or I to miss anything that would delay him coming home here with me,.. I’m a planner AND a worrier. So this not knowing is KILLING me! 😩 but I will keep you guys posted if I have any changes. Please let me know if anything changes for you guys?!?!

Absolutely! I’m hoping he will be here by the end of the year… where in Egypt is your Fiancé from? If you don’t mind me asking… maybe they can help each other out with all the paperwork as well if they are close? Luxor/hurghada.. I THINK we will be in the 8/2 in transit group.. at least I am hoping to be.🤞🤞🤞 I hate the waiting game it really stinks. You are going in August? I’ll be going again in Early September. And then after this im hoping I am meeting him at JFK!!! I do hope this stage goes a heck of a lot faster than the NOA2… interview in a couple months would be AWESOME 🤩 but for now we wait.. 😝

I have been searching as well. Info is hard to find!!!! I’m actually following a lady in the April KI VISA filers page on Facebook. They are received at the consulate in Cairo, but she said looking like maybe possibly November for an interview date…. I am NOA2 6/16 and hope to receive NVC number so we can move on to the next step of waiting! I have already taken when I visited my fiancé in June, I-134 form, my tax records, divorce decree, w-2, copy of passport and I will wait for the pay stubs.. Maybe we could follow each other in this waiting game.😩
