  1. Astute observation…there is a great number of fellow Americans that cannot believe Republican Party just got steamrolled…
  2. The Judge is not compromised and trial has been open view. ..so no court step theatricals , yet😂. Prosecution has to decide if they want the dismissed charges back on or they proceed to avoid delay. They have to scramble and get someone up to warp speed to replace Wade .
  3. It’s a tough call. I assume you have tracking info on its delivery, so try emailing lockbox support to locate it. If no luck in the next 10 days , I would send in a new filing and stop payment on presumed lost first packet. If they reject /return your first packet , postmark of attempted filing won’t help you. You will need new forms and new fees https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/organization/directorates-and-program-offices/management-directorate/office-of-intake-and-document-production#:~:text=Us by email at LockboxSupport, mailing address with your email. a filing mailed to the Chicago, Elgin, Dallas, or Phoenix Lockbox. 4. I am suggesting our legal system allows tactical and strategic delay plays …such as rehashing blanket immunity
  5. Fani will have a rough go of it …and derailed the timeline of trial . I expect judge will be flooded with individual defendants motions , just for strategy . Ms will have her very own gag order soon. Wades ex wife can expect a lower divorce payout , now that his income changed so drastically 😂
  6. Does the public have a right to a speedy trial in the Trump case? The U. S. Constitution and the constitution of most states (except California, Article I, Section 29), however, only grant “the accused” — not “the prosecution” — a speedy trial right. Does that end the discussion? Meaning, can a defendant in the courtroom of a sympathetic judge simply accomplish having his case delayed in futuronotwithstanding the demands of a vigilant prosecutor? Or is there somehow an inchoate right to a speedy trial possessed by the prosecutor and the public too? The federal Speedy Trial Act, Title 18 U. S. Code, Section 3161, provides that the appropriate judicial officer shall promptly set any case for trial on a date certain “so as to assure a speedy trial” — not simply a speedy trial for the defendant. And Rule 2 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure states that the purpose of the federal rules is “to eliminate unjustifiable expense and delay” — not just an “unjustifiable delay” by the court or prosecutor https://thehill.com/opinion/judiciary/4498459-does-the-public-have-a-right-to-a-speedy-trial-in-the-trump-case/
  7. So far each of the 4 cases on the menu are stalled. …as a result of Defendant legal play. Considering three civil cases against him filed by Jan 6 victims have just been green lighted…I still believe if/when Dominion decides to go after him , it will sting
  8. I am guessing Willis will take the deal , Wade will quit . Interested to see if this means she will try the case herself. Fani Willis hearing live updates: Trial can continue if either she or Nathan Wade are removed from case, judge rules Defense attorneys argued Willis should be removed from the case because of her relationship with Wade, who was hired to serve as a special prosecutor Judge Scott McAfee, who is overseeing Donald Trump's election interference trial, ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should not be disqualified from prosecuting the racketeering case against the former president and several co-defendants, but either she or special prosecutor Nathan Wade should leave the case. It's likely Wade will be the one to depart. If Willis were to remove herself, the case would need to be reassigned to another prosecutor which could jeopardize it. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/live-blog/trump-trial-live-updates-fani-willis-rcna142772
  9. Slow news day. 😂 Attorney suspended for pooping in a Pringles can, leaving it in victim advocate's parking lot The Ohio Supreme Court suspended an attorney who defecated into a Pringles potato chip can and then tossed it into a parking lot of a crime-victim advocacy center. Criminal defense attorney Jack A. Blakeslee's conduct called into question his fitness to practice law, the court decided. Blakeslee's defense? He said he didn't target anyone but had a habit of putting his feces in Pringles cans and randomly throwing them from his car. He claimed he pulled the Pringles prank at least 10 times that year. But the court didn't buy it and said Blakeslee purposely chose the Haven of Hope in Cambridge, Ohio, as his "drop zone." Surveillance video captured the incident in November 2021. Blakeslee had known the victim advocates at the center for years and was scheduled to see them in court 15 minutes after the Pringles deposit. At the time, Blakeslee was representing someone accused in a capital murder case. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2023/11/29/lawyer-suspended-poop-pringles-victim-center/71745795007/
  10. File new I-130 and I-485 TODAY. Include the I-765/I-131 and I-864. Save yourself from fee increase and avoid legal fees , DIY is ok. Because your first I-485 was denied , the underlying I-130 seemed to have gone in a black hole . Not worth dissecting if the RFE for missing doc involved that petition. Best course of action now is to file asap, even do the new I-693 medical later once you get an RFE. Just make sure to get your filing accepted before 04/01
  11. Though he can wait in the US while I-601 A is pending…once he goes out they will refuse on public charge grounds ….

  14. https://video.vice.com/en_uk/video/the-far-right-are-infiltrating-the- military/619e64fa0d008848920ebb65 https://berkleycenter.georgetown.edu/responses/white-christian-nationalism-the-deep-story-behind-the-capitol-insurrection one observer noted, the January 6 protesters seemed a motley crew: “country club Republicans, well-dressed social conservatives, and white Evangelicals in Jesus caps…shoulder to shoulder with QAnon cultists, Second Amendment cosplay commandos, and doughy, hardcore white nationalists.” One group erected a giant cross, another a wooden gallows. Someone waved a “Jesus Saves” banner, while another sported a “Camp Auschwitz” hoodie. But the closer you look, the murkier things become. Christians waved Trump flags. The “Proud Boys” kneeled and prayed. One man, decked out as a cosplay crusader, clutched a large leather Bible to his chest with skeleton gloves. What looked like apples and oranges turned out to be a fruit cocktail: white Christian nationalism.… Trumpism is, among other things, the latest version of the WCN frame. Echoing the promised land story, Trump says he will “take back the country” from the outsiders and invaders who have taken control—immigrants and secularists, Muslims and Mexicans—and then restore it to its rightful owners: “real” (that is, white, Christian) Americans. Echoing the end times story, Trump paints the world in terms of us and them, good and evil, and hints at violent struggles to come. The first such struggle took place on January 6, 2021. It will not, I fear, be the last
  15. I will assume the gist of the question is How Will It Look to USCIS? Or even, Will They Look at the case any differently? In that respect, I believe they will vet for inconsistencies ( given country of origin ) the same for a government clearance employee as for a 7-11 worker. The optics are the same. …

  17. What Idiot Backed Trump’s Bond in E. Jean Carroll Trial? This One. Good luck to this man. But the question on everyone’s mind is, how did Trump get that money together? He appears to be struggling to post bond in his multiple lawsuits and reportedly only has about $413 million in liquid assets. That’s not nearly enough to cover everything he owes in legal fines. It turns out that Trump may have called in a major favor: Court records filed Friday show that the bond was guaranteed by the Chubb Corporation, an insurance group. In 2018, Trump appointed Chubb’s CEO Evan Greenberg to a White House advisory committee for trade policy and negotiations. https://newrepublic.com/post/179692/idiot-back-trump-bond-e-jean-carroll-trial-evan-greenberg
  18. Donald Trump wants to escalate a US trade war. Did it work the first time? Trump has proposed tariffs that could reshape the economy, experts say. On the campaign trail, Trump has vowed to escalate the trade war initiated during his first term. However, studies have shown that his trade policies fell short of promises made to rejuvenate U.S. manufacturing and spur job growth. In some cases, analysts told ABC News, the policies harmed U.S. producers while raising prices for consumers https://abcnews.go.com/US/donald-trump-escalate-us-trade-war-work-time/story?id=107448832 How Trump’s Tariffs Really Affected the U.S. Job Market MICHAEL PETTIS A recent study on U.S.-China trade concludes that Trump’s trade policies cost the U.S. economy nearly a quarter million jobs. But its obsolete understanding of trade flows ends up pointing trade policymakers in the wrong direction. https://carnegieendowment.org/chinafinancialmarkets/83746 OPEC sticks to oil demand growth view citing resilient economy Emerging Asia, particularly India, Brazil and Russia, could further surprise to the upside," OPEC said. "Moreover, if the U.S. continues to keep its current momentum, growth could turn out to be higher than expected." The OPEC report also showed OPEC oil production rose in August driven by a recovery in Iran's production despite U.S. sanctions remaining in place on Tehran and Saudi Arabia's voluntary cuts, as well as an increase in Nigeria. https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/opec-sticks-oil-demand-growth-view-citing-resilient-economy-2023-09-12/
  19. I don't want a snake oil salesperson as President," Cuban told Axios by email Tuesday. "I'm voting for Biden/Harris over Trump all day every day." Zoom in: "It's the snake oil salesperson vs the incumbent, traditional politician," Cuban said. "One will tell you his snake oil will cure everything that ails you. The other will show you the details of his policies through charts, graphs and statements," Cuban said. "He is precise and methodical and wants to sell the steak," Cuban said of Biden. "Not the sizzle." "Trump voters are happy with their snake oil whether it works or not." The big picture: The fresh comments from Cuban expand on his recent remarks that he would support Biden even if the president was on his death bed. "If they were having his last wake, and it was him versus Trump, and he was being given last rites, I would still vote for Joe Biden," Cuban told Bloomberg on Monday after a meeting at the White House about prescription drug costs. The tech billionaire and Dallas Mavericks minority owner co-founded a company called Cost Plus Drugs in 2022 which aims to bring down prices for generic drugs. State of play: Trump's stranglehold on the GOP is set to be on full display as Super Tuesday results start to flow in, setting him up for a rematch with Biden in November's general election https://www.axios.com/2024/03/05/mark-cuban-biden-endorsement-trump-snake-oil
  20. Judge won't let Trump delay E. Jean Carroll penalties, leaving him with days to cover $83M judgment A New York judge on Thursday denied Donald Trump's request for a temporary delay of the penalties in E. Jean Carroll's defamation case, leaving the former president three days to pay or post a bond for the entire $83.3 million judgment. Judge Lewis Kaplan signaled he is still considering Trump's request for a reduced bond or a delay until the resolution of his post-trial motions. "Mr. Trump's current situation is a result of his own dilatory actions," Kaplan wrote in his order late Thursday. "He has had since January 26 to organize his finances with the knowledge that he might need to bond this judgment, yet he waited until 25 days after the jury verdict ... to file his prior motion for an unsecured or partially secured stay pending resolution of post-trial motions." https://abcnews.go.com/US/judge-trump-delay-jean-carroll-penalties-leaving-days/story?id=107885701
  21. Trump’s latest ploy to delay trials is to cry ‘election interference’, DoJ veterans say Trump’s drive to have trials held post-election hinges on hopes of winning presidency, and then telling DoJ to kill the federal charges Claims by Donald Trump and his lawyers that holding any of the four criminal trials he now faces before the US election in November would be “election interference” lack a solid legal basis and are brazen ploys to delay trials until post election, former justice department officials say. As he campaigns to return to the White House, Trump is facing unprecedented legal and political perils: trials are pending in four federal and state jurisdictions, where he’s been charged with 91 felony counts including 17 about conspiring with allies to overturn his loss to Joe Biden in 2020. Trump’s drive to have trials held post-election is premised heavily on hopes of winning the presidency again, and then telling DoJ to kill the federal charges, say DoJ veterans.Lawrence: History will remember SCOTUS calling Trump an ' https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/mar/08/trump-claims-election-interference-delay-trialsinsurrectionist'
