  1. Is there any tips or links you can share to prepare for the NVC stage? (My I-130 was approved today, from what I have read I just wait a couple days to receive the welcome letter email from NVC). If you could outline what you submitted it'd be helpful! Thanks
  2. Have you done anything since your I-130 was approved or are you just waiting for the welcome letter from NVC? I keep researching to see what I should start getting ready.
  3. Hi everyone! I just received the greatest news ever. My application has finally been approved! After more than a long year of waiting and stressing I can say it is a big relief. On to the next steps. K3 was never updated I-130 Case status date had changed to todays date Went into documents tab and approval notice was in there! To everyone still waiting, hang in there you will hear something soon.
  4. I suggest you try early in the morning. I believe it is available starting 8AM. I usually keep typing agent until it gives me the option to “connect to live chat”. It doesn’t always work, if so just try at a different time.
  5. Yes I have a good feeling I will be hearing something soon! I will definitely post an update as soon as I get that approval!
  6. Thanks for the motivation that is good to hear! I know that feeling must be great and it will all be worth it once the rest of the process is complete for us!
  7. Congrats!! I hope I am close to getting approved yesterday marked one year of waiting so I am hoping to hear something soon. I keep waiting patiently.
  8. The estimated approval is not accurate at all, seems to be the same information they would provide if you track it by case number. Best is to be patient and hope that approval times get better. I am about to hit a year at the end of this month and still waiting. Good luck.
  9. That is awesome, congrats! Did your receive an email at all or was your approval under the documents tab?
  10. Thanks for sharing this! I am in a couple of Facebook groups and saw someone got approved a day or two after uploading more "unsolicited evidence", not sure if that helped their case. I also thought and have read that uploading more things could send you to the back of the line but at this point there is not a specific answer for that. I have been debating on uploading more "unsolicited evidence" from when I went back to visit my wife in December thinking it will slow my case even more so I have not done it. I think us February filers from 2022 should be getting close to getting approved I have been seeing more cases from late January - early February getting approved. Hopefully we all hear something soon!
  11. I saw someone on a Facebook group that was approved yesterday with a PD in late February 2022....Seems like they might be closer to processing January - February but who knows. Hope for an approval any day now!
  12. Hopefully we hear something soon, its tought being away from our spouses! hopefully someone here has an idea what cases they are going thru.
  13. Has anybody received any updates on their case or know any information about what cases USCIS is currently going thru? I am at about 11 months waiting still no update since filing I am hoping yo hear something soon….if there is a whatsapp group also please let me know. thanks
  14. Hello everyone, over the weekend processing "tab" time has changed from 1 Week, to "Your case is taking longer than expected to process". I am aware this means the same thing as the processing time we would get on the check your status page. However, just thought I'd post an update... I did find out someone who had this same message got approved after a month, from one of the Facebook groups I am in. Let's hope California Service Center speeds up soon!
  15. Yeah it's interesting but like someone said already it's pretty much the same info were able to get on the USCIS processing times page. Mine does say 3 months, which cuts the estimated months from 10.5 to 10! I can only hope it is spot on or sooner, would be nice.
  16. Has anybody seen a "Processing Time" tab in the main USCIS page where you check on your case documents and whatnot? I logged in today and just noticed this new tab was added on mine, is this new or has this been a thing? Either way gives me hope it may be sooner than I thought! Finger's crossed.
  17. That is a good point...although Initially I myself thought it had to be the actual transcripts but when you stated the copies of the return would be just fine that is some relief. I don't want to have to worry about my amended return still processing in case I get to the NVC stage during it. Thanks
  18. Oh okay, like you said we are at about the same timeline here. I did hear that as well.. Yes! Hopefully soon, if I hear anything ill make sure to update on here! Thanks for sharing.
  19. Hey! That's very interesting before sending the K3 did you have an "actively being reviewed notice" on the USCIS site? My case has said actively being reviewed since February 27th. The date has not changed for that even after K3....hmmm The receipt notice that I stated was for the K3, they sent me mail stating they had received it. My I-130 is in California, but best of luck to both of us! Hopefully waiting times decrease.
  20. Congrats! Yes this does help. So even though you will be submitting copies of the amended return, you still plan on later submitting the actual transcripts after they update them? I would think just the copies would be ok but if it's better to still submit the transcripts I will keep that in mind. Thanks
  21. Just giving my input here on how it's going after sending in I-129F(K3) form: Filed I-130 on Feb. 27th and after reading about the K3 I decided to give it a try. Since it is free to fill out I went ahead and did it, pretty easy as I used my I-130 to grab most of the information. I sent the K3 in around late May and they received it may 27th, my receipt notice for this came in June 1st. I have not heard of anything else since then, it would be nice to see that it actually helped so I continue to be patient.
  22. Hello So I am currently waiting on my I-130 to be approved like many others (6 months in), but I did have a question regarding tax forms for when the NVC process is finally here. It took my about 7 months to finally get my tax returns processed and finalized but I have to amend my return due to a missing tax form. My question: If I amend my return I am afraid it will take a couple months again to get it processed since they are so behind, if the NVC process were to happen first would I just send over the amended return papers or would I submit the most recent tax transcripts even though I would be amending it? I am looking for opinions or thoughts on this before I proceed with amending my tax return since I know I have some time to actually do it. Thanks
  23. Wow congrats! That's good to hear! That makes me feel better about filing K3. Although it's been two months for me already since I sent the K3 in. My original filing date for I-130 is 2/27/22, currently in active review processing at California Service Center. I filed K3 in late May. Hopefully it helps my case and I hear something soon.
  24. This is correct, I filed online as well back in February and initially it said Nebraska SC but it actually is being processed at the California SC. I confirmed this by using the chat with Emma, you have to insist until you get an agent though.
