I didnt realize I could file the I-485 with the I-130. So I did that first. My mistake for sure. We have the I-485 filled out, waiting for the Civic Doctor paperwork returned (we went to the Doctor last week once I realized we could file that concurrently). I just didn't want to file the I-485 without asking about the I-765 first. I will definately file the I-131 just in case. We really would love to go visit his family and I am so excited to meet them face to face. I truly appreciate all the information you have given me. If we are filing the I-485 for adjustment of status that should allow travel again though correct? Or do I need to file the I-131 as well. Boy there are a lot of documents.

I received my I-130 approval and we are just about ready to submit the I-485 adjustment of status. Do we need to submit the I-765 from for working as well? I looked at the form and it basically has all the same questions included in the I-485. Does the I-485 include being able to be approved for work as well?
