  1. Julia - congrats on not going crazy! did it feel good to come home with things and also not feel guilty for spending too much?

Staashi - I don't know ####### is going on. My uncle comes over in the morning to have some coffee and read the paper while he waits for my cousin to arrive (they ride to work together). Maybe he is turning it on?

I have a question for everyone...I used to have a thing to hook my laptop up to my tv but I can't find it. Do I just go to the store and ask for that or does it have a specific name?

if ur lap doesnt have hdmi,, go for a vga cable.. if it does, the an hdmi cable..

  2. He likes Australia, fine. He hates the US, fine. You don't agree with his views, fine. Where he crosses the line and shows that he has no classs is calling women from Mexico, South America, Phillipines, China etc, third world whores, which he has done too many times to count. Now Colombian women are drug addicts. Insulting peoples spouses and families doesn't cut. He intentionally provokes people with his antagonistic posts, then cries foul when it's given back to him, so he resorts to his usual spouse insulting or tough guy e-thug approach. He has no class, end of story.

Eric has more class. At least he doesn't insult peoples families.

    yup...

  3. What do you want me to do? Pretend I am not better than those from 2nd and 3rd world countries. That would be lying.

Pretend. You ARE no better then anyone else! 1st, 2nd, or 3rd world. What an arrogant a-hole to even think he's better then ANYONE. I'm not even going to play your game. I took the bait but spit it out. I'm done with you. I sure hope you aren't an example of the typical australian.

In reality I think your just some punk-#### kid on mommy's PC tryin to start trouble. Go to bed now! Hopefully you have an early plane to catch back to Australia.

BTW, just because my wife is from Colombia does not mean she's into drugs. Neither am I! And to answer your earlier question, I'm a born and bred American (from the D.C. area) who spends most of the winters in Costa Rica fishing. Met my wife there as well as many other good friends.

He doesn't understand that concept.. a job, and money (and country of origin) determines how 'good' a person is... yeah only in his BY world

  4. and if you want some justification... just try stuffing a queen sized mattress inside of a prius... hehe or how about hauling 20 bales of hay...

How often do you do that? It's a waste of space to let all that vacant room of an SUV be unfilled 90% of the time. Sad.

agree.. buying a SUV or a pickup truck for no work related purposes is a waste of space.. and a waste of gas..

Not true. If you had a 4x4 truck with a 20" lift kit, 26" rims and 45" tires, you'd have an assault vehicle capable of any and all conservative fringe apocalypse conspiracy theory. Not only that, chicks dig the big truck with athe monster truck tires :jest:

    :jest:

  5. If the goal of the program was to improve the overall gas mileage of America's fleet of personal vehicles, then it was poorly designed. If that's what you want to accomplish, you need to put a ceiling on the fuel economy of the new vehicles that are elgible for the credit - say 25mpg and then perhaps ensure that the trade in has a lower fuel efficiency than the purchased vehicle. I think, though, that the primary goal was to keep building - and selling - new cars.

yeap.. agree.. it was just economic, not environmental.. the cap would have been a good idea, u can trade ur car for a new one, but the new one has to have this or that fuel efficiency requirements..

  7. Coupla points to consider:

    1. did he have permission from the curricula chief at this school?

    2. if the curricula chief said 'ok' - then that's it.

    3. if the curricula chief said 'ok - but issue parent permission slips first for this assignment, a week before' - did the teacher do it?

without any of the above being covered by that 'teacher', he is eligible to be on the chopping block. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS cover yer @ss. That's common sense - I can't believe he didn't even try to cover his @ss.

    Happy Sunday !

agree.. specially these days, that some parents think they know better than the teacher, it's always cautious to have backup

  8. peejay, this is not like 'heather's 2 mommies' they are not introducing point of views.. they are analyzing homosexual behaviors in animal species, and it's not about 'oh these animals are gay and they love it', it's about they've studied and documented species who engage in homosexual behavior.. hardly indoctrination.. they're not making stuff up.. science if proven right, and neutral, doesn't really damage anybody or it's 'shoving gay indoctrination down someones throat'

  9. I think you've been watching too many Mad Max movies.. your description of my 'home' is quite inaccurate

here's a picture of my shanty town.. with just a few people, like, 9 million

btw don't copy it, because it's copyrighted (mine)

    it looks pretty! :star:

NO, it's horrible, that's just the facade.. the building at the end is where they hide the 1inch pipe for people to get water at 2 in the morning...

    thanks :P
