  1. Congrats on your husband ..... As for mine, I have now (Twice) been in a "Taking Longer than expected" ..... also pessimistic on the "myProgress" as it feels like a roulette wheel. Some say it works (win) and more just see it as frustration.
  2. Refresh the page ... that has happened to me a few times now
  3. It did take a while to actually "get" the letters and the account access code as well. Check my timeline as I have very, very detailed notes when I got a notice of something and when it actually arrived via USPS. Example: 09 Oct 2023 - Online Access Details (USPS) 23 Oct 2023 Yes, the "code letter" was dated "09 Oct" but not to house until "23 Oct" - Crazy I had also heard a number of people as having success with "Ask Emma" to getting the online access code. Best of luck with "Her" as I never seem to have a good conversation with her. Online access does give a better way to see current state and even letters they send (much faster than USPS) but like with K-1, there is still plenty of "Why is it taking so long" and the "myProgress" seems to be about worthless
  4. We had a similar problem .... Except, a few minor differences. First, we attempted to get a RealID. First registration with CA DMV, no problem with Docs but didn't pass the test. Second registration with CA DMV, passed test, but I-94 didn't have 60 days of validity left so couldn't continue AND ... Since married name didn't have a middle name, Nevada didn't give wife her preferred married name so had to wait for CA Court to legally change the name. THEN when we went back to SSA to change the name, they couldn't as there was less than 2 weeks (validity) left on the I-94 at that point. So, now we have to wait for EAD before we can proceed with SSN and perhaps with RealID. Silly
  5. Second time I have seen it .... I to hope it is soon. So many further steps to complete once she finally has something official from Govnmt
  6. Mine said 1 week .... and just now it changed to "Taking longer than expected" (for the second time. They should just remove these estimators ... the estimate is totally useless.
  7. @leva&Brian .... Agree (unfortunately) with Osman ... timeline even on USCIS site is a poor estimator or tool to plan for anything. We are stuck waiting on the I765 at the moment unable to get Drivers License or SSN Name update complete until the Government finishes with that .... aiaiai
  8. I just uploaded a doc ... although as it wasn't based on an RFE, I had to upload it as "Other Supporting Documents" with a cover letter explaining that this replaces the other 485. Lets see if this works (or moves my case along at all.....) Status online said 6 months to next step before the upload ....
  9. Was it that you answered "No" and needed to answer "Yes" (as discussed above) or didn't check anything? If was "Yes" rather than "No" some of us might want to upload an "unsolicited correction"
  10. mine had that statement ... then jumped to multiple months .... recently back to weeks (or a week) ... I wouldn't trust the "estimated remaining time" at all at this point
  11. So who else (other than @grumpypiggy) has their work card approved or in hand? We are officially in the lower 1/2 of our processing traunch now. Aiaiai
  12. Now, I am confused as well .... aiaiai
  13. Seems to be just as unpredictable as the k-1 ... Some get lucky and have it quick (@grumpypiggy) and some (like me) are waiting and have ~3 months listed in thr online account
  14. And with me ... I'm certain all the docs where there in the packet ... oh well, just waiting and waiting
  15. Hope it goes smooth ... plenty of waiting (for us unlucky ones) in the next step too.
  16. Still shows as 3 months on my (wifes) USCIS ... and today. Casetrack (group around my case passes the 50% done for EAD ... 😭 Wish there was something to do other than wait.
  17. @grumpypiggy, since you seem to be in the lead for all of us, Do keep us up to date with regards to when you receive any/all of your approvals and physical cards.
  18. For ours, we included the DS-3025 was provided by civil surgeon when medical was done with the K-1 Visa .... That said, we are currently in a "case decision step - 3 months to complete" state so maybe it means we might be awaiting another RFE ... Can't say .... Online they show the final page which was signed by the civil doc in Brazil. DS-3025 .... We sent the origional we had from our K1 Visa packet return ... They didn't take it at the boarder so it still had a photo of her... Who knows, if I learn something, happy to share
  19. Your welcome ... and welcome to stay .... Who knows, you just might be faster than some of us in the group too (like myself) ... Either way, Intend to keep the group active as much as possible until those here hear something ....
  20. October chat didn't get started until I stole the welcome message from another group and opened one ... If your Nov, feel free to create one (although, there are a lot of cool people here that are prompt on status updates). Still jealous of @grumpypiggy
  21. Hey gino, it should come soon ... post office is often slow with these docs ... especially the online accesa code doc.
  22. Minor annoyance ..... California drivers license .... ooph .... I-94 isn't valid long enough so now I have to figure out when we get the EAD as that is the only way to get the RealID. Yes, could get the basic ... but she needs it for traveling.
  23. Mine used to say 2 weeks .... once they processed the Biometrics it jumped to 3 months for EAD and 5 months for AOS
