  1. I don't see anything in your timeline. I am sure there is no country named N/A and no person named N/A, If u could please update your timeline then all of us would know cases like yours, and it would be reflected in the timeline when I pull the data. I am not saying u don't get APs. If everything goes smootly you could receive the packet 4rm ISB within 5 weeks & interview another 4-5 weeks after they receive the papers. So just to explain this further, who are unable to understand this. Please look at the attachmet. I hope this helps.

    After leavig NVC to Islamabad

    MIN-------------MAX

    For Packet----------------15 days---------5wk

    For interview--------------4wk-------------7wk

If you get AP, then nobody knows when you would be done!

It's not my ego, just looking at the patten of ISB. If you do a timeline seach, it's obvious. Also with ISB, AP rate on guys is much higher than girls. U could have an educated guess based on pattern and that's what I am doing.

Look at this one, got the packet in 10 days after leaving NVC.

I'm not interested in getting into some great debate, perhaps your ego was burned or something......fine, that's an example, and that's GREAT! I didn't promise this guy it was going to take years.....I just told him what I found going through the threads. Dude, be right....and be happy....I don't care, that's not why I'm here. If I wanted to feel superior to a bunch of people I'd find a website where I could actually answer questions......all I do here is offer what I've noticed and what I've been through. I'm done with this topic......see ya

i am on ap from july , DOS has approved and it is pending in embassy ,

  3. That's why I am saying if everything goes well. With the AP nobody could suggest anything. I have seen people on AP for 4 weeks to 1 year. So pls read my msg carefully. I always try to be optimistic, but you never know with USCIS.

    Thanks

Usually after leaving NVC, you get the packet from ISB within 5 weeks and interview within 9 weeks. Add one extra week for the visa to get to her. If everything goes well, you should plan something in last 2 weeks of Jan if you could. This is the pattern I have noticed lately.

    I hope this help.

My husband went for his fingerprints and gave his passport today. They said MUBARAK to him and he will get his passport back in 1 week with visa. YEAH!

CONGRATS!! GREAT NEWS!!! Best of luck on the rest of the journey!

    Hi All,

My case has been sent to Islamabad on Thursday Nov. 15, my priority date for my K1 is 23 of May 2007. I have a few questions:

1 -- How long does it take for ISB to receive the petition?

2 -- I have noticed a lot of people here on VJ have received earlier interviews, do you think she will receive interview this year?

3 -- Is there anything we can do while we are waiting for ISB to contact her in Lahore?

4 -- Is there any way to put a rush on the K1 petition? I am going to be in Lahore, Dec 20 to Jan 4, and would love for her to come back with me.

Thanks in advance for you help!

WHAT!!! I think you should look at the timelines for people on here.....you are WAY off on that information......people are waiting until next year sometime for their visas, and almost (if not everyone) everyone is going through AP. You should be more realisitic when giving information, people get their hopes up!

  4. If everything goes fast, she can receive the packet in 10 days leaving from NVC. And interview one month from the day they receive the packet.

Good luck! & keep us posted on the status.

  6. Hi,

I Need some help here. I heard that I could send both I-130 and I-129F together. And yes I want to choose a K-3 route so please don't tell me that CR-1/IR-1 is better visa. I've been getting different answers on where to file. I live in Texas. And It says to file I-130 to Texas Service Center. Now Can i send them both I-130 and -129F together to Texas Service Center or no? I called the USCIS office, but the person who i talked to didn't know much about it guess. I'm really frustrated all of my forms are done. And I don't know what to do. Please anyone tell me the correct information. Thanks.

You suppose to send it to Texas Service Center, and they would transfer it to the Califonia service center. I don't think you could send directly to the Califonia service center while being in Texas. It's is true that TSC does not process I-130 or K3, but you should still send it the TSC and have them sent it to the CSE. Unless the instruction have changed, it also mentioned in the instructions for the I-130. People have tried sending both together to the TSC and they transferred it to the CSC and got the NOA1 from the CSC. You could try it if you want.

    I hope this helps .

  7. It's almost taking the same time for the I-130 NOA2 if you look at the table's last colum it has the date for I-130 NOA2 approval too. The only difference is that 129F is leaving NVC in 10-14 days & I-130 is leaving the NVC in 3-4 months. Plus, in Pakistan it takes longer for processing of I-130. I hope this help.

All of us who are applying now are really screwed!

    Khurram,

I am doing I-130 for my parents its not K-3. Will it take same time? as it will go through same process.

Can the visa be rejected mb Embassy in Pakistan?

  8. I don't agree Khurram, including yours last year time for most people was between 6-8 week compare to now it's 4-5 months between NOA1 to NOA2 for I-129F. I am also attaching last year data with this. You were lucky except the AP. I applied my I-130 2 months ago & still waiting for NOA1 for I-130.

I think it it has always taken 4 to 5 months for K3 in US as my wife's process got done in 4 months
  9. It's good that Islamabad is moving quicker now, but look at USCIS processing for K3 in US. People from May are still receiving the NOA2 & nothing from August. It seems like it takes about five months period between NOA1 & NOA2.

  10. Prior to July it use to take 2-3 weeks. I filled mine on September 14th 2007, and USCIS received it on the 17, but I haven't received the Notice of Action (NOA1) from the USCIS. There are people who filled in August and still haven't received the NOA 1. Now, it could take upto 90 days to get NOA 1. Yes, the I-129F (K3) visa works faster than the I-130, but you would have to do a lot of paper work when you arrive in the USA. I hope it helps, keep us posted on you status.

  11. Yes, it's an easy job to do. All you need is a C clam, ranch & socket set I prefere Husky, new brake pads buy the ceramic ones those are good, metallic ones are cheap, but would destroy your rotors, get you rotors resufaced if your feel a vibration on you steering wheel when depressing brakes.

    That it!

I went for an oil change this mornning, and was surprised with an estimate of over 600 dollars to change my brackes.don t get me wrong I had my car for the past 6 years and never had them changed, but over 600 dollars for that is tooooooooo much..

so far i have no problems with my brakes so and of course i told them let me think about it and come back. sure no way jose!!!!!

i went to work and talked one of my guys coworkers who checked my car and said yes you need them changed but it shouldn t cost that much...you know i start researching this brake deal online and come to find out the brakes on my estimate are 73.45 when i can buy them for 35.53 at pepboys!!!!! i only need 2 of those. i haven t found the price on disc brake rotor, but i am sure they wont be 52.95 for sure. I found a guide online as to how to change the brakes and sure doesn t look that hard.

i plan on getting more estimates from other locations, I am just mad as i feel these people can just double or triple the price and not even feel bad about it?!!

  12. Isn't it you don't receive the DS-157 in packet three when your beneficiaries is a female. Khurram did your wife receive the DS-157 in the packet 3? Also, the form 1-134 what did you send as the support documents? Pick form the list or add/delete. If there is no packet 4, just wondering why you have the date in front of packet 4 in your timeline.

    1-Offer letter from employer

    2-Pay stub

3-Income tax return - Is this needed? if yes how many years?

    4-Bank statement

    Thank you,

Does anyone remember all the forms they received in the packet 3 for the K3 visa from the Islamabad Embassy. Care to post all the forms numbers?

    Thanks

Keep in mind that there is no packet 4 or 3.5 for K3 in Islamabad.

Also need to fill out I-134 but I don't believe the packet comes with it.

Let me know if you need help in filling out any forms and such
