  1. Good to hear from you all, even though we haven't seen much movement. I'm sure that that is headed our way soon. Our estimates are right around the corner. - I submitted early September 2021, I'm at Potomac and I've been on AR for approx. 150 days. - Submitted K3 early March, nothing came of it. - Estimated date is mid July. Just curious, does anyone know how much of a role the beneficiary's country of residence/origin plays in processing speed?
  2. I submitted I-130 on behalf of my husband in September 2021. I’ve been living with him in Europe for 5+ years now. Since in all likelihood, we will probably get a visa decision made this Fall/Winter according to predicted processing times, I’ve already gone ahead and got a job in the States. I’ll be moving back to start my new job soon, so my husband and I will need to live separately until there’s a resolution on his visa. My question is, does this work against us in any way to be living separately, even when it’s basically me setting things up in the US for the both of us as we wait for his visa? Is this common to do?
  3. On the application I included those details. I submitted K3 to hopefully expedite I-130.
  4. I submitted my K3 application months ago on behalf of my husband. I received a notice of receipt from USCIS shortly thereafter, which contained an error: My birthdate was incorrect. I checked my submission, and I filled it out correctly on my submission. 1. I opened up a ticket via "Correct a Typographical Error" in the portal and was given a ticket number with an estimated waiting time of 3 weeks. Three weeks comes and goes, no action. I wrote the USCIS chat and they told me to wait another week. 2. No action after a week. I wrote them again, and then I was issued a second ticket number and an additional month of wait time, zero action. 3. I inquired again now that a month has passed, and they told me to open up a new ticket via the portal. No answer on what happened with the last two. I'm starting to get really frustrated. Am I going about this the wrong way? It would take an individual 10 seconds to adjust the error, and here I am waiting 2.5 months. Thanks for any insight.
  5. Whoops, you're right, the child part did throw me off. 🙈 Thanks!!!
  6. Hey guys, I hope you're all well. Is it my imagination, or can we not check the processing times for our spouses anymore? Call me crazy, but there used to be an option on this dropdown on the official "Check Processing Times" page.
  7. I did the same. But my experience was that Potomac opened my file in order to give a response to my congressperson, and doing so flagged an "Active Review" status that got our hopes up. It's been gathering dust for 3-4 months.
