  1. hey i just did research.. abt NSO certified CENOMAR and Birth Cert.. They said that the documents / copies they issue dont have expiration dates, but, if these docs will be used for DFA or Embassy requirements, it should be at least 6mos valid.

i guess i will get another copy  anyweiz, no worries, it will just take 3days-1week to get these..

we still dont have our noa2 but robby went last week to get a cenomar. he didnt get it at nso in manila but some office in trece...the cost was 350 pesos for the cenomar...

are u finish gathering your documents?

  2. I tried TB's "trick" today..the lady said that my case is with an officer and is being reviewed..ive heard that already and it has been there since jan.30th. when i said "I'm aware that several files received after mine have already been approved, and the USCIS website clearly says 'we process applications in the order we receive them.' Will you please send an e-mail to the floor...?" she took a long pause, then she informed me that she will send an email to the officer asking what was the status on my case. she told me that i should call back in 2 weeks, but she didnt say i should call back IF I DONT HEAR ANYTHING FROM THEM...

i dont know, hopefully i get my NOA2 soon...

...on a brighter side, at least an email will be sent..

after speaking with the lady, i thanked her SOOOOO Much and wished her GOD BLESS =p

  3. thank you for that explanation! ..i talked to his mom and she said when she had his name fixed and had gotten a NEW BC from NSO, the name was corrected......

BUT NOW, on the NEW BC my fiances year of birth says 1985,and the orig. said 1986,,..so they missed-wrote it!

now my mother in law has to go and get that fixed again with the NSO...

    ill keep u guys informed...

*as for me, ill keep praying and waiting for the NOA2**

    GOD BLESS YOU ALL :D

  4. On my fiances birth certificate, his name was spelled ROBBIE...but he actually uses ROBBY. His school records and i.d's were all spelled with ROBBY not ROBBIE. on the I-129F, i used ROBBY...the thing is, his mom already spoke with a lawyer/attorney and had the ROBBIE changed to ROBBY...im not exactly sure what the NSO plays in this...cuz i know he has to get a B/C from NSO to be submitted when he gets interviewed.

AND!!! on his Birth certificate, it says his year of birth was 1985! but his real birth year was 1986..and again when i filled the petition i put 1986..his mom tells me they'll have to fix this with the lawyer/attorney again...

I was informed about this AFTER i filled the petition!...even after getting a lawyer and fixing the problem on his birth certificate, im still so worried..i know he would have to submit a birth certificate and a NBI clearance when he goes to the interview...

any suggestions or advice??!! SOMETHING??? i dont know where to start!!

WILL THIS BE A BIG PROBLEM WHEN HE GOES TO THE INTERVIEW AND THEY SEE IT!!!!!!??

THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE AND GOD BLESS!!!

  5. THANKS! i thought it would take 90 days like the lady said it would..im glad it didnt...one month and 4 days to be exact...now i wait for the NOA2 hopefully it gets here soon, it'd be nice if it came b4 Christmas, that would be a great present...if not, ill guess ill continue to be patient ...how are things with you?

I GOT THE FIRST NOA1 TODAY IN THE MAIL! aww im so relieved!!!

Congrats jhilly, it's good to see another September CSC filer finally get their NOA1!

  6. My I-129F packet was received by CSC in Laguna Niguel, CA on August 22nd 2007.

It has been nearly a month and I have not yet received the NOA1.

Also, the check I used for payment has not even been deposited by USCIS.

I called the 800 number and asked if there was a delay on the NOA.

I was told that there has been delays and I cannot inquire about a specific petition not unless I have not received a notice after 90 days.

Is anyone in the same situation as me?

I thought that the NOA1 usually is received in 2-3 weeks.

yes it would seem so, there is a post on this subject somewhere

hey i have the same problem!..i filled mines on the 19th of sept. its been a month today and NO NEWS yet. i posted a new topic hopefully people can help me...i had just called the CSC and they told me it might take up to 90 days for me to hear anything...i guess that takes a lil load off my shoulders...but still, time is tickin' and i want to c my guy already!!!! hehe

  7. hey guys... :help: im really stressing about this :crying: ...i sent out the I-129F last sept 19 2007 at the post office here in Riverside California. the employee there said it would probably get there in 2 days if not the next day. Its been a month and i still havent recieved any notice saying they've recieved it. and the $455 filling fee is still in my bank and has not been cleared!!! :( Ive been reading forums and timelines and ive seen that most took about 2 weeks for them to know if they service center has recieved it and about the same time for the check to be cleared...is there a number i can call to speak with someone personally and not those recordings??! im really stressing about this, so if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL! (F)
