  1. Hi. was your negative answer that they havnt received it from USCIS? I made a public inquiry on monday and got a reply today. They said they they havnt received my petition yet and that if its been at least six weeks from noa2 date (5/4/23) then i can send an email to nvcresearch and they will contact USCIS to find my petition. So i sent nvc research that email today. Im a little concerned but if there are other folks with similar noa2 dates still waiting for nvc to receive their petition then ill feel a little at ease.
  2. Good to hear. At least you have the case number and are one step closer.
  3. I may have a bit of good news. I get notifications when timelines similar to mine are updated. This one came in today. My noa2 was may 5 2023. So hopefully any day now.
  4. Hello, Ive seen different opinions on this but everything ive researched says to use the public inquiry form for that. That guide from 2020 is very helpful but hopefully someone udates it one of these days. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
  5. Yeah i used Lumen PDF to be able to edit the form but it was like recreating the wheel in order to get all the fields entered correctly. Your printing hack is genius! I didnt even think of that. If it turns out I have to redo this form due to the expiration issue your hack will save me so much frustation.
  6. ok good to hear. Im curious if you or anyone else has had difficulty trying to fill in the some of the fields on the I-134 form. For example, in the employemnt section it doesnt allow for any data to be entered in the fields circled in red. Ive tried multiple PDF apps and same thing. There are other fields on the form that dont work right as well. Plus when you enter a name into the beneficiary name field it duplicates that name in the Supporter's name fileds.
  7. Im curious where you saw that the current I-134 form expires July 31st. If that the case then i may need to redo mine.....Oh wait i see the expiration date is on the upper right corner of the form. Im glad you noticed that. Id hate to be delayed because of an expired form
  8. I totally understand. USPS is the same. Its like playing russian roulette. You send a package and pray it gets to destination and on time
  9. Im sure it will be ok. this may help put you at ease. In the I-134 instructions it says the following. Ive also attached the official instructions if you need them. i-134instr.pdf
  10. The Visa service im using told me it was ok to send beneficiary a signed copy of the I-134. So after filling out the form, i printed it, signed it, then scanned it, and emailed my fiance the signed copy. They also said It has to be a signature written by hand and not an artifical one like you can do with adobe and other such products.
  11. Friendly heads up. I tried emailing NVC at the email address (NVCInquiry@state.gov) given on the noa2 and got a reply stating they only accept inquiries made via their online public inquiry form at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html.
  12. I finally figured out how you were getting this graphic...lol. This site has so much stuff its hard to know what you're looking for or missing. Most of the things i find here are accidental, like when is stumbled onto this forum thread.
  13. They probably wouldnt appreciate it. Especially since the NOA2 says you need to wait at least 30 days.
  14. With respect, non citizens are allowed to vote in elections all over this country. Im not vilianizing anyone. Im glad that persecuted foerign nationals have a legal route for citizenship. However, Im simply stating facts, and pointing out that it is much harder to get into and live in this country legally than it is by simply enetering via the southern border. I do blame those who make the decisions for this disparity.
