    Dear members,
Finding this forum has taken a break from my daily stress and drive to look at the DOS information page on the status of my waiver request.

The request was sent to St. Luois on 11/10/2021, on 11/14/2021 they made the collection of fees. The embassy sent the No Objection on 10/11/2021 but there is no information on the DOS page.

I have requested information from the email that they put on the DOS WEB but they have not answered.

    Happy New Year 2022

Welcome to the club :) Myself and at least 3-4 other members submitted their documents to St. Louis 4-6 weeks earlier than you. We are waiting since then for the record to show up on the DoS website. You gotta wait...

I think you should be fine, I believe the no objection letter from your home country + favorable NIH sponsor views are what matter the most. NIH sponsor views won’t rely on your SoR

Thanks. That's what I was told. NOS from home country + favorable NIH sponsor views are more important than anything else.

Any update in your case? Did your sponsor get sponsor view request from DoS?

    Guys,

I submitted Statement of Reason (SoR) literally as this-

"I have received an outstanding job offer from (employer's name), and I would like to take advantage of that opportunity to advance my career."

Now I'm worried that it is too short, and could cause problem in getting favorable recommendation. What do you guys think? Is it too short? My case is not showing up yet on DoS website (delivered October 20) so should I submit a new long SoR? Has anyone submitted SoR after submitting DS3035?

PS: My DS2019 sponsor is NIH so DoS would be requiring sponsor views from NIH.

    Thanks!

I got Favourable Recommendation on Nov 10. Still no letter from DHS or USCIS. They had processed my change of address in Sept. I feel this is causing the delay.

Cheer up, you at least got FAVORABLE recommendation. Just curious- why didn't you request mail forwarding request with your carrier rather than changing address with DoS? I'm not sure about other carriers (FEDEX, UPS etc.), but I'm 100% sure that USPS does forward mails to new address upon request.

I sent an email to the 212ewaiver in September asking when I could expect seeing my case updated in the system (I sent my documents August 2). Today I received a response to that e-mail.

I was expecting a decision by January/February. If that worked as a push for them to review my case I'm glad lol. Will update in the coming days/weeks.

@pedroneo Congrats!! You are super close in the process. Could you please let us know how you had drafted an email to WRD? I have sent two emails so far to WRD, but none of them was answered :(
