  1. Hello All, Recently I received approval for my I612 (waiver for home residency requirements for J visa holders). However, both in receipt and approval notices from USCIS, I have my first name (which is a bit long) truncated to 18 characters. I looked into some immigration related forums and found it common. Can anyone on Visa journey confirm with their experiences as well? Thanks
  2. Yes, approved. But my name is a bit long. The receipt notice shows only half of it. Now should work on it.
  3. Thank you! My sponsor is my University. I guess yours is NIH so there is an extra step. Hope you will get it soon.
  4. Yes, I know. I contacted emma before receiving the I797C. Im able to track- Case Was Received At Another USCIS Office
  5. Yes, end of March. But Im with a different problem these days. When I chatted with Emma, they did not see my application. But my I797C says they got the application on April 01, 2022. Looks like there are several unique issues..
  6. What was the receipt date please? Was it back dated to Feb or Jan?
  7. Every embassy sends waiver to waiver review division at DC only not to St. Louis. You can see that in your DS3035 also.
  8. Did you check about the money order by sending an email to : helpdeskaccounting-st.louis@usps.gov?
  9. Congratulations on the back date. I'm around the same time. Updated on 04 Mar with 03 Mar in the received column. Don't know if this is based on DS2019 expiry or something else.
  10. Can you please comment on why one might receive a opinion from a funding agency? Is it common for everyone -even who is working with a project under PI who has NIH funding?
  11. Yes. Please see my timeline above. I got an update on March 04- and the documents show up with March 03. Sent my docs in Oct 2021
  12. Do you think everybody who is even working on a NIH sponsored project with PI will get a opinion request from DoS? Or is it direct NIH funded postdoc?
