  1. Meanwhile, we are over here at almost 2 years and waiting for a darn interview.  I am not the same person that I was when I started this journey 2 years ago and I'm not even sure how I'll get back. This has completely torn my life apart.

I'm angry at everyone. I'm angry with USCIS.  I'm angry I was given incorrect information. I'm angry at the Moroccan embassy. I'm angry that people ahead of us got an interview JUST by emailing the embassy when we were told to just sit tight and wait for an email from them.

I don’t know if this is same for you but I found out that the letter the nvc sends u is the welcome letter and has your case with that letter u make medical appointment and embassy does not schedule u anything u do it your self. I had two professionals tell me.  I was first confused by all of it too but I guess that how it is.

Are you Morocco as well? They're telling me in the Morocco group on Facebook that we will get an email with our appointment date and instructions.

I am on the right group page or is there a different group page ?, my NOA1 was Sept 23, 2021 and NOA2 is December 14, 2022

You'll need to look for the thread that says DECEMBER 2022 K1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY because you are a December NOA2 (sorry I wasn't able to find one, otherwise I'd post the link), this thread is for September NOA2.  At the beginning of each thread, there is helpful information on next steps as well.

    My NOA was 09/06/2022

i still have not heard anything it’s been about 60 days also where do ppl see saying case is in transit? My app says only that it was approved for USCiS part

We are Sept 6 as well and I decided to email the NVC research email on Monday 10/31 to see if our case reached them. They responded yesterday that it has reached them and is awaiting data entry into their system.  I think we just wait for their welcome email after entry into their system and then we will be able to get our case number and will be able to log in to another website where we will see if it is in transit to the embassy.

Please note that once a K visa petition is approved by USCIS, the file will be sent to the U.S. Consulate in Casablanca and we will contact the beneficiary of the petition directly to schedule an interview date.

Thanks, so how do they contact them? Phone? Email? Mail?

Today after 426 long days, our case was approved! My case tracker app didn't give me a notification like it should have, and after yesterday's great result for my group (117500), I had some instinct about today and was checking all day. I had just absentmindedly opened up the app while I was on the phone with my fiancé, which was a pleasant surprise for both of us and a nice moment. Keep strong everyone, your time is coming very soon!

Congrats! Now anxiously waiting to see people post updates in the SEPTEMBER 2022 K1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY post in a month or so.

even canada has US POE in some international airports

flying out of Morocco / have u seen a flight that takes u to LA?

    check all the layovers

Canada and Paris if u go that way allow someone with an approved US visa to transit to US

but coming from the Asia direction ,   you may need transit visas for layovers

and do not buy a ticket in 2 or more phases like one to Paris and pick up a ticket there for the US

the Moroccan would not be allowed on the flight to Paris with no visa to france

the ticket must be Morocco to the US with layovers as needed but not separate tickets

and going  from casa to arizona she wlll have several layovers .  after POE it willl all be domestic

Thanks for the info! I was browsing flights in January and February. I did see a few going to Los Angeles, he kinda wants to do a road trip from L.A. to Arizona, so that may be ideal.

Your POE is wherever the plane lands in (or the vehicle crosses into) the U.S. or its territories.  Any border city with an international bridge or highway, or any airport that receives international flights, is a POE.

You may arrange the immigrant's flights as you like.  Search for reviews of various POEs here:

    Thanks!

    Check your case status here

Check your processing center estimated adjudication timeline here

    https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

If you’re also a K1 filer, you’re most likely at California Service Center which is taking about 13.5 months to process. You won’t hear anything for months and months until your case is approved.

Our request to join the group was declined. Apparently profiles that are less than a year old are not allowed. 🙄
