Hello group members. The status of the 360 application was not updated, but we received a letter that the case was approved. how normal is that I was following and everyone's status was updated. I don't know if we should be happy or not.

Hello friends, I am wondering about these two options, applicants who are under background check with 360 application, and also those who are already approved in 360 and are still under background check in next stage 485 application, which application is actually background and security checked?  If they are checking on 360 then why is it  delay for 485 background check reason .

Other applicants from my country got GC, so I don't think they don't have communication to my country.

Please, Can you tell me, for example, what it means that it could be something?  What does a background check include I have sent  inquire to VSC twice and both times I was told a security check, no background check.

That the US government doesn't know unless they perform background check, e.g. contact your country of origin to get information about you.

Thank you for answering me.  What should I ask about the structure of my country? Is the security check on receiving my information related to my country? What I have to ask? About my criminal record? If so will I send it to uscis? 

Hello friends. I sent my Wawa case in 2019.  In 2 years, 2021, my C31 category card was ordered but not sent because within a week the case status changed to reopen the case for reconsideration.  Within a month I contacted Vermont and was told that my security check had not been completed and that was why there was a delay.  A year and a half has passed since then, two months ago I contacted my congressperson and got the same answer, my case is under security check  and they don't know the exact time.  After the last case status change, I got two PF and I don't remember 5 or 6 in total since 2019.. Please tell me what they are checking that it has not been completed for a year and a half.I have been waiting for a decision for 42 months.  I have seen same updates as I have and please share your experience.  What is a security check, what are they checking, I have never had any criminal record in my life. Congressperson said we can’t do anything in this process.

Security checks basically concludes when it does, there’s no fixed time. We’ve seen cases here of the check spanning up to 1/2 yrs plus hopefully yours resolves sooner!👍

thanks for answering. does uscis makes background or security check for vawa application? As I know they are doing the checks for 485 application.  background check is it really reason for delayed case  or its  just automatically answer from uscis when case is out of processing time .

How long does take background security check for VAWA ? submitting date is SEP 2019

I cannot speak to how long it takes, I just know that I have talked to others with security checks, and it was 2-3 years before they cleared.  Security checks do not just apply to naturalization.  If it is something they need to verify before they approve your petition, it is called security checks.  I have talked to others who were in security check, and then USCIS did a home visit, and then they were cleared.  You never know what they are going to do .  

Nice, I’m waiting when they visit me 😀 C31 card was ordered, then reopened for security check wasn’t completed it was  response from officer and are waiting when it be done I hope they will done soon the check 😩

And the security check takes 1-2-3 and sometimes 4 years ? It’s not logical..

The background and security checks include collecting fingerprints and requesting a “name check” from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). In addition, USCIS conducts other inter-agency criminal background and security checks on all applicants for naturalization.

What information they found if I never had any criminal in my life? For example what? My case is also  under security check and never had any record. Also my C31 card approved then reopened because my security check wasn’t completed,and never sent the card officer responded that security check need to complete and they will send me my decision. The C31 card was approved and on the fourth day the status was changed so that the case was reopened for reconsideration and a notice was sent.  Half a year has passed and neither the message nor the card has arrived and wasn’t sent the notice for reopened.   When I contacted Vermont one of the officers replied that the case was delayed because the security check had not been completed and therefore the case was not ready to make a decision.  They can’t move forward until the security check is completed.  After the change of status, they were sent to the third prima facie and renewed work permit .
 

 Is it really possible?  That the card was approved and no longer sent to me because there wasn’t completed security check if it was just a reason and the officer changed his mind and had to reject the case.  Please tell me something to do, imagine what it feels like to be in this situation

Did you send you case July 2019? 

I’m wondering, card C31 was ordered but wasn’t mailed . October 2021,  4 days later status changed “we reopened are reconsidering our earlier decision And we sent you a notice. 
I didn’t receive any notice

2 month later contacted to VSC and officer responded: The processing of your
case has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for a decision, as the required security checks remain pending.
We cannot move forward on your case until the security checks have been completed. These security checks must be completed on all applicants who apply for the immigration benefit you are seeking. We will provide you with a decision on this case as soon as possible after the security checks are complete.

How it possible??? Never heard same situation. What do you think any advice I appreciate you please. I’ll be out of processing time in June. Contacted last month congressperson but till nobody contacted me. Will I worry or not

new C31 card approved but never received. Uscis responded: case not ready yet because of security check and it delayed for the reason. It has  to complete and then they will send a decision asap when it be completed.  

 How long does security check take? Online status still shows new card ordered

The I-360 doesn't take 3 years to be adjudicated, it takes around 19/22 months.

What about when C31 card approved then vacated for security check reason (never received C31 card , only responded after request to vawa unit ) , is it possible? The applicant background is clear everywhere . Is it possible officer  forgot security check? 

Hello. Work permit C31 card was ordered by uscis and then vacated after 5 days . Uscis said delayed for security check reason and need to complete it. After the response received 3 rd prima facie . Did officer forgot security check ? Or what  was going on , what advice do you have please help to friend 🙏
