No need to copy and paste is Yahoo IM. When you are done chatn before you close the chat box click on CONVERSATION then SAVE AS, then name the chat the date you chated and then it will be at the top of the page when you print it later. This way you will have the date for each chat on the top of each page which is good to show ongoing relationship. I created a folder before and just name it after my fiancee and then save all of our YM chats there. Then print 2 or 3 from each month just to show ongoing relationship. ( make sure to pick chats that show good topics)

Since its been over 6 months contact your loacal congress person and they will call the service center for you and find out what the status is. I know someone that had the same issue and the congress person called the service center and found the case was left on someones desk.

I just got back from Makati yesterday and found Globe has a option for 2 prepaid sims for only P120.

This gets 1 local Filipino sim and 1 International Roaming sim that comes with P101 and doesnt need to be reloaded. This gives your filipino fiancee, wife or family member the option to send international text to you for only 1 peso per text.

What is the matter with this people?? I havent seen any NOA2's in awhile for VSC, have they taken a vacation again. I'm going over 110 days since my NOA1 today and this is getting abnoxious. I havent got touched since November 1st. Does anyone know if they are working of the "end of October" filers yet?

Not just you, our received date was Oct 19th. I have seen approvals at the VSC come with in 2 months. I think its BS that is so much faster at the VSC. They need to send a few other states from the CSC to VSC to help out a little. Not good when some have to wait 6 or 7 months for a NOA2 and others get it in 2 months. Anyway good luck everyone

Spirit Airlines started flying from Ft. Laurderdale to Peru. They have lots of great prices and promos. Go to the site and join the $9.00 club and you will get email with promos. Sometime the flights are low as 9.00 each way. Dont know how they do it but they do. Then its just a short drive from Orlando to pick her up or get a round trip ticket, you can spend a few days at the beach with her.

I know how you feel. I just got back to Las Vegas USA today from Makati. This was my 3rd trip in 10 months and they never get easier. Goodbye is always hard and each time makes it more sad for us. I miss her so much already. The long plane home is always so sad also. We filed in October so hope we get an approval soon. At least we got to spend our first Valentines Days together. Cant wait for the day we dont ever have to be apart again.

If you are going to meet him at LAX just let him know you will be waiting at the little exit ramp after he gets his bags and goes past immigration. very busy international POE. I usually use LAX but just got back to the US today from the Philippines and flew straight to Las Vegas this time and it was much faster and alot smaller terminal. (Only has one bagage claim)

I agree you should use the H1B. My fiance is a Nurse in the Philippines and about to take the NCLEX for US nursing but we used a Fiance Visa because it was fater for us because she didnt have a job sponser yet

They wont know when your photos were taken if you have a few that dont have dates printed on them just use those for the first time you met.

Just because you surprise someone with a visit doesnt mean you dont trust them. I am in the Philippines for the 3rd time to see my fiance and she didnt know I was coming. I even called her from my US cell phone after I arrived and told her I had called a local gift store and ordered something for her and she had to go pick it up. When she arrived at the gift store I had worked everything out with the store and when she was receiving the gift I had bought for her I walked up behind her and kissed the back of her neck. She was so happy to see me. I think anyone that doesnt like a surprise visit from someone they love then they might have something to hide, it doesnt always have to be about trust just because you surprise someone.

I agree, this will not make it faster. Everyone wants to try anything and everything to make the process faster and the fact is nothing will.

Every little bit helps. I try to send as much as possible each time to make it last lonegr. I also called Citibank and requested a card with her name on it. I am actually in the Philippines now visiting her for the 3rd time so I just brought the card with me. You can also mail it just dont activate the card until she receives it. Just need to make sure you are giving the credit card to someone you trust very much. My fiance is a nurse in the Philippines so she doesnt need to much but I do help with things. I paid 600.00 U.S. dollars for her to take a 3 month United States Kapland nursing class to help her get ready for the test needed to work as a nurse in the United States. You have to look at the big picture in the long run when your fiance is in the United States she will be helping you alot more then you will for just a few months. Just make sure you both agree on when and how much you will be sending back home when she gets there and starts working. Some will think they need to send everything they make. Another good thing to try in just get a bank account to put money in that you want her to have. get a ATM card for that account and send it to her. Doesnt need her name on it because she can go to a ATM and get the money out when you put it in the account.

We are truly lucky & so excited to get our noa2 so quickly! i just wanted to thank everybody on this site for the information they have provided for philip & i while we wait (along with most everyone else!) to be together again

Does not matter so dont worry so much. I know someone whow ent alone in Manila, Philippines and had no problem. Just make sure you have everything they ask for and be ready to answer a few questions. him not being there will not change things

If you both use Yahoo messenger with a headset/mic, you can talk for free. Add a webcam and it is real nice. Just another option for you.

I agree Yahoo is the best way. If she doesnt have a PC then send her money for the cafe. So much better to use a mic and web cam. I also use calling card from www.pinshark.com

As the petitioner, I know that I am supposed to get a verification of my employment and salary. Trouble is, my employer is a large company in a volatile industry (airlines) and has contracted out everything it can, including employment verifications! The company they are using is called The Work Number (http://www.theworknumber.com). I'm supposed to give whoever needs this information a "salary key" and my "employer code" so that they can pull it up themselves.

Has anyone had any experience with this ridiculous system? Would the Embassy (in Frankfurt) or the US Department of Homeland Security, USCIS use this?

I've spoken to a Customer Service Rep at The Work Number and there is no way I can get this information on myself! The "verifier" needs to request it and the US Dept. of Homeland Security is registered in their system.

Is this going to be a problem? Can't my recent paycheck stubs and my tax returns suffice?

Any help on this score would be appreciated.

I work for a worldwide company and The Work Number is also used. Had to contact HR and ask for employment verification and explained to them it was needed for immigration. The Work Number will not work for your process so dont use it

This is very time consuming, I have been copying from Yahoo I.M. archives. And than pasteing to Word document. Its not as orginal as printing chat right out of the archives, but takes less time. Printing right from my yahoo archives only does 2 pages at a time and is hard to line up w/out chat overlaps

I hope the easy way will be excepted, dates, time and names are shown, just not the yahoo logo.

Please if someone who knows could advise.

* 4 for more evidence,

* then 2, 1,

* then entered our case number (with the WAC at the beginning, that is 922+10 digits).

...I need this information because even though our estimated date to receive our NOA2 has not passed, I am growing more and more impatient every day without my sweet Madzia.....

Hi again everyone!! I'm always thankful of this visa journey forum. This truly helps my wondering throughts sometimes..I'm here again because I would to ask if somebody here applied for K1-visa for the second time to a different person after 2 years he filed his first K1-visa that was being approved before..If someone here have the same case like this, did your application of K1 for the second time processed smoothly?

It's almost almost 7 months this January still we dont have NOA2..What do you think are the best expection that we will going to have for this?

You will get a better result if you call your local Congress person. I know someone who called a local Congress person and they found out the case was checked in and sitting on someone desk. This congress person even took the time to go into the office on Christmas Eve and then called my friend. (wont get that much) but anyway it will help you because they have people to call direct.

We might as well blame this on 911 in my opinion. In the past a fiance visa was the quickest way possible to come over...now everything has changed.

I have made 4 trips to Europe in 6 months to be with my love and you know I have more problems with passport control here than anywhere.

It's a damn shame. You have to be strong in this process and with some help from above the light will come.

I agree 100%. They dont give a s--t about the feelings we have for others. They get in office and dont care about anything. The current president is an A-hole and stupid as a rock. The US spends so much money on other countries and our own country has to suffer so much. The American dollar is at its lowest in many years. The first time in 50 years the Canada dollar was worth more then the US dollar. My point is if they cant fix things like this then they wont care about little people like us. It would be great if we could get lots of people to call. People from Cuba touch US soil and they get to stay. People from Mexiaco get sent back if they come, just need to find a safe and better way for everyone. They rates for so many forms went up so much in July and they say they hired 1000's of people to help make the process faster but the interview date I have in VJ has had about 3 weeks time added to it in just about a week or so. What can i do! I recieved my NOA1 on October 2nd. I called USCIS (california) and they said i have to wait 6 months from the time i recieved the NOA1 before i can call and ask them to hurry the heck up. I've been reading other people's posts and it seems that most everyone else has recieved their NOA2's!! even people who filed after me. I want to punch a wall.. *sigh*. Its been so long already...

Is there ANYONE else waiting for their NOA2 who recieved their NOA1 in october or earlier? I think im really the last one left in the dust. I've been forgotten. great. I should have sprayed the paperwork with perfume or something right? or put little sparklies on the paper or something? anything to make them want to get back to it quicker...

Dont worry so much. We received our NOA1 in October also. It takes about 6 months now for NOA2
