  1. I just want to thank all of you for your input on the situation I am in. I don't know how deep this situation is. If it's anything like my marriage, I know I may have trouble. I've talk to my doctor and again she understands. Even she doesn't like him. She just said stay away from him. I am glad he is gone. My family seems much more happier. I do have crying spells sometimes. No medicine needed. In time it will pass. I have never seen anyone do what he has done. Even if he said I mistreated him, which I didn't , why should my kids and mom suffer. My mom is in her 80s. She should have to feel like someone will take her house. All the while he was there I felt like everything was my fault. When he left the first time and came back, I had a very high credit card bill because I filed for the divorce the first time.He refused to help me with it. Let's just say that marriage was a scam through and through. The doctor's office asked me where is he and I truly don't know. He won't talk on the phone. I still have some things to give to him that he might need. I don't know if he is in the states or not. Anyway, thanks again for kind words and even words that are wake up calls. Your're the best VJ. God bless you.good.gif

  3. Hello VJ.. it's been a long time since I've posted. I pray everyone is well.. I wanted to thank all of you for your support and input in bringing my fiance' here... I'm thankful that he is now an American citizen.. 4 years ago around this time I was wishing he would be here for Christmas with me.. now he is and I'm soooo happy I met him.. marriage isn't easy and definitely not with someone from another country.. it's a learning process.. I've learned a lot.. to all of you who are waiting, don't give up.. they will be here, although it seems like it will take forever.. but truly all good things comes to those who wait.. both of our hair is gray now from all of the stress of immigration and just daily life here in America.. although I miss Egypt and I pray to God that things will be better there, I'd rather be here and so does habibi.. my prayer to all of you is to have a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year.. thanks for all of your help and thanks to the friends that I've met here as well.. you are very dear to me.. God bless you VJ.. Bahebak and shukran (L)

  4. Please forgive me for not posting sooner  my husband had his interview 10/18/11 and his oath ceremony on 11/21/11, so we are approved.. thank you all for your hard work in answering our questions.. we are very happy.. thanks you :dance::thumbs::dance: .. I will have to update my timeline too :star:

  5. I was so excited to get approval in less than 4 months, but now USCIS has gone and made a mistake to set us back!

On the NOA2 it seems to think that my husband (the beneficiary) is in the US and will adjust status (and no we didn't submit a I-129F or petitions for children). Otherwise they say we have to file form I-824 (and pay $400 and wait another few months!!!) to have the petition sent to NVC. We clearly listed his foreign address and in Question 22 put N/A for the local office and indicated the London Embassy. Obviously they made a mistake and should have just sent the petition on automatically.

So we’ve put in a service request for them to correct this and will just have to wait some more I guess. Ugh! Has anybody else had to deal with this? How long should we expect to wait for NVC to get it now?

Wow, I've never heard of anything like that.. do you have a copy of the paperwork you submitted.. I'm sure that will help when you try to have it corrected and they will see it was a mistake on their part.. not sure about the wait time, but definitely take your paperwork with you to show them

  6. I agree.. I don't know much about SA, but the things I have heard and there are articles in the news about how women are treated there  I don't about the combining of income and being married there as I did K1.. I believe it is an easy route, at least for me.. please when you visit keep receipts and take plenty of pictures.. I'm happy for you, whatever you decide.. I'm quite sure everyone here is.. but please think about what was said about SA.. also the language barrier.. I felt soooooooooo alone and "foreign" when attempting to talk to my BIL and his family and that was in Egypt.. Egypt is more accepting, at least the last time I was there in 2007, on dress code.. however I could not wear shorts around my BIL, so says my husband.. I complied.. I remember one time while my then fiance and I were out we were walking near the square, somewhere  anyway some guy said something and habibi went off and my sister in law too.. I had a tank top and shorts on.. and the shorts weren't too short.. habibi told me that the man commented on how I was dressed and maybe said he wanted to get with me or something to that effect.. I'm telling you there was about to be a fight right there and people were gathering.. I was like what the heck just happened :crying::blink: .. there are some people that are still wanting you to dress "appropiately".. next time I will stick with my capris.. have fun where you go and be careful.. love you

  7. Loud cell-phone talkers strike again!

A woman traveling on New York's Metro North train line was recorded by a fellow passenger telling train employees that she is too "well-educated" to be told to quiet down and not use profanity in her cell-phone conversation.

"Do you know what schools I've been to? How well-educated I am?" she asks the train employee, who is seen explaining to another employee that she asked the passenger to stop using the "F-bomb."

"I'm sorry do you think I'm a little hoodlum?" she asks, then demands her money back and dares the conductor to stop the train.

The person who originally uploaded the video to Youtube (who has since removed it) said in the description that the woman "was talking too loud on the train when the conductor politely asked her to keep it down and stop using profanity or to take it to the vestibule." After the altercation, the conductor came on the loudspeaker and reminded people to keep conversations quiet, "especially those people who went to Harvard or Yale or are from Westport."

Last month, a woman was escorted from a quiet car in an Amtrak train by police after she chatted loudly on her cell phone for most of the 16-hour journey, and then became angry when passengers asked her to stop.

    link plus video

I can't see this at work :crying: I'm on break though...anyway, what about the lady on the Amtrak train.. was that in New York too, not that it really matters.. I can't stand when people do that, especially foul language :bonk: .. my daughter and I were going into the grocery store and this lady was behind us on the phone talking and cursing loudly on the phone.. I had to hurry up and get away from her.. I didn't want my 7 year old hearing that mess.. I don't talk like that period on the phone.. I try not to use profane language at all, but when angered, well :blush::innocent: but where you go to school has no bearing on obeying what the people say about talking like that in public.. and this lady at the store ended up in front of us as we exited the grocery store.. I wanted to run, literally :crying::wacko::wow:

  8. thank you allllllllllllll for the help but its so late ,

and sorry for my bad language ,

its to late because my sister has passed the interview today

she was very scared and they asking her a lot of questions and if she is married or not but she answer no i am not married

they say you lie with your husband we know that you already married so you should file cr1 a spousal petition not k1 cause k1 for the fiance not married and she say no we dont know that is for fiance just a mistake they get dennied the visa and get a ban it for 10 years oh my god thats terrible i can't beleive this 10 years can't go to the usa plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz we need your help if there is an other solution

i know that is very complicated but if she file cr1 again if she can get the visa or not plzzzz i'm waiting the answer and i appreciate it

    this is terrible

I'm confused.. you said she passed the interview but then said something about being denied and a 10year ban.. why did she lie, why not tell the truth from the start.. you should listen for a change and should have done the cr1 instead of k1, point blank period.. that is fraud :blink::wow:
