  1. hey, seems like uscis website is not working??? can’t login ??
  2. Oh, that’s a fallacy. The only one talking about control over the destination of the packet is you.
  3. First of all thanks for your answer. I appreciate it. I think it makes a lot of sense actually. When you say, “the Service Center might matter” do you know which one(s) is usually considered “better”?
  4. Hi here, Me and my wife Julia just sent our 751 packet. Regarding the removal of condition, from what I understand the packets can be sent to difference service centered. Potomac is dreaded and is usually categorized as “blocked”. Now… there are three schools: - 1) The “Your Service Serve Matters” school: here people argue that you have more chances to be approved quickly if you are at the right service center. - 2) The “It doesn’t Matter What Service Center, It’s Completely Random” school. These people don’t believe that one service center is worst than another. I fact they think of it as a random process. - 3) The “Ugh” school! This refers the some people on this forum, usually very active and very negative. Any question is met with a cold and “Duh” answer. *IF YOU ARE PART OF THIS SCHOOL, YOU CAN CLOSE THE PAGE NOW, THIS POST IS NOT FOR YOU* 🚩😘 Question: can those from the school 1 and 2 give me facts and why you think this or that way? Thank you so much. Ps: remember, I’m looking for positive and respectful feedback only. Negativity or pessimism won’t be tolerated in this post.
  5. and how do I know at what service center it is? and how do I know at what service center it is?
  6. Hi there, I have a question regarding the removal do condition packet. On average, how long does it take for people to receive their text notification that the package was received? Let’s say it’s received today, in how many days should I get the “received” text ??
  7. Hi, We finally sent packet of removal of conditions. Then what? Are we supposed to receive a notification that they received it? (the was delivered but that’s it). Let me know what the next steps are (besides waiting lol) Thanks!
  8. this is SUPER helpful!! going through what you send now as I review the packet! THANKS!!!
  9. That is it, we are sending our packet for removal of conditions. I think I have everything, check, form, evidence, green card copy. Can you please tell me what do usually people forget to do? What are the things I should make sure I have? I want to make sure I didn’t forget anything.
  10. Hi there, I have an important question, when my wife did her 485 a couple years back she said she was 5”2. We after realized she was actually 5”1. Her ID says 5”1. Now, for the removal of conditions, should we put 5”2 to match the old packet, or should we adjust to 5”1. Is that a problem if we change it on the removal of conditions application? Can the officer have a problem with this sudden change of size?
  11. Hi there, I have two questions for you today. 1) i want to submits tact returns for 751. Should we do tact returns or W2? which one is best? my taxt returns are very long. 2) in the future when we get the extension letter, is it safe to travel with this letter? are people generally welcomed back? Thank you!
  12. Hi, I just send removal of conditions. How long does it usually take for travel authorization to come ? is it usually fast or does it depend? Give me some numbers, I want to know approximately
  13. can you give details? i don’t know what “very complete, thorough package” means
  14. Hi there, I’m about to send the packet for removal of conditions and I have a few questions. But before I even start, I know that there no direct way and promise that my case will be approved quickly. HOWEVER, I notice that a lot of people get approved pretty quickly (8 months give or take) while for some others it takes over 2 years. While It seems like there is no secrets to be approved quickly, I definitely see tendencies in the way some of you make their packets for example. I would like to hear more about those things in order to form my own opinion about what could potentially make it easy for USCIS and by extension help making things go a little quicker. I would like to hear from those whose removal of conditions was approved quickly. What evidence did you submit in your packet? How many pages was it?How much effort did you put into your packet overall? Did you print one evidence after the other or did you make an effort to create a syllabus? In what center was your packet sent? Also, if you have any other informations that you think would be helpful, feel free to share it! Thanks for your help!
  15. your interview was waived for both removal of condition and citizenship?
  16. Hi there, I will be applying for citizenship in few months and was wondering something about name change. I’m planning on changing my first and middle name. 1) Do you think it is better to change it during the Citizenship process? (I know I will have to wait after the interview then, how long by the way?) 2) Should I do it after the citizenship? Then I won’t have to wait extra time for citizenship to be approved. I know that doing it that way I would have to pay for change name unlike if i do it doing the citizenship process. 3) Right now, it says that in my state change name takes anywhere from 60 to 90 days. Is it the same time I would have to wait if I decide to change my name during the interview? If it’s approved and they have to send it to the judge for name change, am i going to have to wait 60 to 90 days or will it be faster? What’s the estimate? Thanks
  17. Hi there, I made a previous post about the process for applying for citizenship and now I have another question about another important topic. I am planning on changing my first and middle names. Nothing crazy but they are very different from my birth names. My questions are: - Should I change my names during the citizenship application or should I do it after? The thing is: I know that when you request a name change during the interview it slows down the process a bit because they need the judge to approve your request so I’m wondering what are the pros and cons of both situations - Also, If i decide to change my name after I get the citizenship, on my naturalisation certificate my old names would appear. Would that be a problem i’m the future? Like for exemple if my naturalization document is required somewhere and the name don’t match. Thank you!
  18. Can you please tell us more about your packet? What evidence did you submit? Where are you located?
  19. Can you please tell us more about your packet? What evidence did you submit? And what form was your packet in? Hard cover?
  20. Hi, That’s it. Already almost 2 years of green card. We have to apply for my removal of conditions next month. It’s quite stressful and I have a few questions: I got the conditional Green card in December 2021. so when can I apply for the removal of conditions? I heard 3 months before the original date, but is this considered 90 days? I got it on december 26th 2021, so does that mean I can apply on September 26th 2023? Also, what do you advise me to put as bonefied marriage evidence? We have pictures I guess but I’d like to know what count as strong evidence? Also, according to the 3 year rule I can apply for citizenship the same time next year, right? But what If we don’t have an answer for the removal of conditions by that time? Do they still do the combo interview? Or do they wait until your removal of conditions is approved? I’m in New Jersey by the way if this is helpful..! Thank you for your help!
  21. I have a important question regarding a change of address. In our case the beneficiary filed for a change of address. We got the answer fro USCIS and they wrote the same name of Beneficiary and Petitioner. I checked the document I received when we filed for a change of address 1 year ago and it was the same, so i wonder if it's not a mistake on their part?????
