Just FYI, I thought I was covered per the chart they sent through but ended up needing 3 vaccines on the day.

Which 3 did you end up needing ? I had chickenpox so won't require that, and planning on getting the flu one before.

You can't get them at the embassy but you can get them at the medical. They let me know that i can get them through the NHS and send in the proof, or pay then to do it then and there. I've read that the first option can cause delays so I just took the hit and paid their prices to get it done.

OK awesome, thank you.I think I will do that. I did read that we only need proof of 4, we don't actually need the Hep if you are between a certain age.

  3. Hi!

Regarding the vaccinations for K1 visa, specifically Hepatitis, can you get these at the embassy (I'm in London)? Called local GP and coming from Cornwall, the person who does it comes to the clinic bi-weekly. If I choose to have the vaccines during the medical, is it a 'one shot' only deal and then good to go? Thank you!

Apologies if this is in the wrong thread - I wanted to ask if anyone has recent experience of receiving any physical letter in the mail from the embassy in London once a case is sent (K1) from NVC, and if we need to wait to receive this before scheduling an interview?

Our case shows In Transit on CEAC but I have all my documents ready and medical booked, the system allows me to schedule an interview so just wondering if there is any further paperwork I need to wait for or if I’m good to continue of course once CEAC shows Ready?

    Many thanks!

Hi! How did you book your medical while it was 'In Transit'? Mine is in transit and trying to get ahead. Thank you!!

With the large amount of RFE's coming through, does anyone know what that would tend to be? I know it's obviously case specific and everyones applications are different, but does there tend to be anything that trips people up more?

I pondered this the other day and whether it was people who used a lawyer vs who did not. A friend who filed years ago got a RFE for spelling their partners middle name wrong twice. Silly, but he still received a RFE just for that. Seems like any niggle and small error is scrutinised.

Hi everyone!!! Great news!!!! My noa1 was june 22, 2021 and today I just received my nao2!!!! I have no idea how it came so fast... I wasn't expecting it for months... are they working faster now? Am I dreaming? (I hope not, haha) but I hope you all get good news soon, too!

Wow! Good for you ! Some late March and early April are still waiting. Very lucky and happy news for you! :)

May will most likely start to see movement once they reach 15-30% remaining of April. Granted it won't be huge numbers but a lot more movement then what are you getting now. That's how it been with the previous months and I expect it to be the same

Sounds about right. Even at 60 cases a day, I believe that's still June 1st by the time they finish the majority of April and start moving more May cases. 30th of May is Memorial Day so I'm guessing that's a day off for USCIS.

Hi guys, the embassy in London have received our approved application! Should I wait for them to contact me or is it worth calling them to arrange an interview and a medical?

Also, can anyone advise me if the interview and medical can be done on the same day? Thanks!

I believe they cannot be done on the same day. I may be wrong though and a second response could validate my thought?!

How long did it take the London embassy to receive your case after your NOA2? Im British and still waiting for my NOA2, May 19th filer. Will keep an eye on your timeline :)

Awesome, you're not too far behind then. Both were quite straightforward - plenty of interview slots at the embassy they post them 4-5 weeks in advance. The visa medical place however is quite busy, so I would recommend calling and booking your medical in advance as soon as you know your case number!

How far out is your medical from your interview? Is it about 4-5 weeks for a medical appointment in the UK? Thank you!!!

Here are the end of day updates. Most that came in later in the day were RFEs.

    69000: 4 Approvals (4 new / 0 in progress)

    69500: 1 RFE (0 new / 1 in progress)

    70000: 1 Approval (0 new / 1 in progress)

    71000: 2 Approvals (1 new / 1 in progress)

    71500: 6 Approvals, 3 RFEs (7 new / 2 in progress)

    72000: 10 Approvals, 3 RFEs (13new / 0 in progress)

    72500: 2 Approvals, 6 RFEs, 1 Other (8 new / 1 in progress)

    73000: 4 Approvals, 4 RFEs (7 new / 1 in progress)

    73500: 3 Approvals (3 new / 0 in progress)

    74000: 2 Approvals (2 new / 0 in progress)

    76000: 1 Approval (1 new / 0 in progress)

    76500: 8 Approvals (7 new / 1 in progress)

    04/25/22: 61 Total Updates: 43 Approvals, 17 RFEs, and 1 Other

    Total new cases processed: 51

Total in progress cases processed: 10

    Total cases with March (17) + April (61) = 78

How many cases are left for the month of April?

  12. Hi all, apologies if this has been mentioned in a thread, I can't seem to find it.

Anyone from the UK who is about to undergo their interview in London, how long did it take after receiving your NOA2? Or are you still waiting after receiving yours to schedule one, is the NVC taking weeks still?? I am a May 2021 (89XXX) filer and pondering the time it takes. Cannot seem to see it mentioned anywhere. More so for reference and my mental state as to when to start planning things.

    Thank you so much!

just a note - i just called NVC to see if i have a case number yet and they said they haven't received my case from USCIS. i looked at timelines similar to mine on my timeline page and it looks like around 2 weeks from NOA2 is when people say it got to NVC, then an extra week or so for the case number. I was hoping since it's 2 weeks for me today that they would have received it, but no such luck.

Sorry to hear that! I'm also from the UK so interested how long it takes you from now til you get your interview. My receipt date is May 29th (89000s), so I am not expecting anything anytime soon. I'm hoping I can finish the process before the end of July but not feeling too hopeful 😕

Pretty much no action. 3 denials, 1 transfer, and 1 notice explaining USCIS actions. Let's see how the rest of the day goes.

Exactly. That was my interpretation of the press release. They acknowledge the plan, say they have an action plan, and any complaint they just point to it, saying they have an action plan, allowing them in fairness to not do anything, and if things are still the same end of next year, they just issue a new one.

Just wondering where you get this data/ information from? Would like it for my own reference :)
