It’s over.
If you can rescind anything rescind it.
Gather evidence and have a dash cam / nanny cam / whatever.
Never lose your temper and every time she does keep a journal
Be the first to file for protection order as soon as she does anything like throw things break things, block you in when you try to leave, electronic surveillance against you. Call the police and get a police report or two to back up your case.
when you are ready file for divorce and don’t Warn her about it just have the papers served.Protect yourself above all. She could put you in jail and take everything if you don’t protect yourself.
But get it completely through your head that it is over.

So i have a question..
we have our ir1/2 visasbin hand and our flight is in one week. But my husband who went back to the US ahead of us to fix some things, have now informed me he wants to divorce. I no longer have a job, or a place to stay here in my country as we had already got everything ready for the move.
the question is, can i still use the visas and maybe go to a shelter in the US? Just for a week or so so i can just find a place for me and the kids since my husband has abandoned us..
Dude signed the affidavit of support
You and your kids own his ### for 10 years.
Sue him for all your living expenses. He literally owes you a living. You don't have to work or anything, he owes you a home and a lifestyle.
If he doesn't provide it you can use the government to take it from his paycheck.
There's free attorneys for you.
He's gonna regret the day he met you. (If you play your cards right)
Form I-864, Affidavit of Support under Section 213A of the INA, is a contract an individual signs agreeing to use their financial resources to support the intending immigrant named on the affidavit. The individual who signs the affidavit of support becomes the sponsor once the intending immigrant becomes a lawful permanent resident. The sponsor is usually the petitioner who filed an immigrant petition on behalf of the intending immigrant.
Just focus on survival and getting the free ride he owes you, you will be fine.

We're currently living together in Japan and have been for 4 years now. I'll be permanently returning to the US in August and figured it would be easier to file from there. Do you think it would be better to star now and file from Japan?
You need to do a Consular Processing, or Direct Consular Filing, and you should do Asap. (tomorrow)
Why does the US hate AOS from tourist visas?

It's only fraud if there was intent.
If somebody goes on a vacation with no intent to marry, then serendipitously meets and marries the love of their life, that's not fraud and it's a legit path for adjustment of status.
Granted there will be tons of scrutiny but it's not automatically fraud.
