  1. I received my approved NOA1 Oct 15 2022. I emailed the NVC last week and asked what is my case status and they emailed me back yesterday and said. "The National Visa Center (NVC) has received your petition and will send detailed instructions to the petitioner, principal applicant, and attorney of record (if applicable) soon." It would be great if they gave more detailed information. Has anyone else received this type of email and how long did it take before you received your NOA2?
  2. Yeah it isn't as defined as it should be. I'd like to file but I don't want it to interfere with the K1 Visa we already have in place if they deny the parole. Does anyone know if there is a whatsapp group for Haitians doing the I-134A?
  3. Yes, this entire process is a joke! No way anyone should have to wait this freaking long and now all of a sudden parole can be granted darn near overnight! Well congrats to you on the 134a. I just wish they would give more definition on residency stuff. I would hate to miss out on this opportunity. I would also hate to apply and have this interfere with our K1 application of we get denied for the I134A because they believe him to be ineligible.
  4. Wow you have been waiting for NOA 2 since Oct 18 2021?? Or did you mean Oct 18 2022? I have been waiting for my NOA2 since Oct 18 2022. I hope it doesn't take another year if that is the case. My fiance is Haitian but has Ecuadorian residency card so we cannot file for I134A.
  5. Does your fiance have to live in that country or just have a passport from one of those countries? My fiancé is Haitian but moved to Ecuador. He just has a resident card there but his passport is still from Haiti.
  6. That's great! So when you actually adjust your status to CR1 I wonder how long it will take
  7. I totally understood after I saw your detailed explanation. I happened to post before I saw your explanation. Thank you very much for the details.
  8. I am kinda conflicted about doing it because we are right in time frame of being approved for our K1 Visa. We just got our NOA1 approved and it is being sent to the NVC for the 2nd approval. I'm not sure what to do.
  9. Oh wow! That's amazing. So once you get married you file for the CR1 and it would start your timeliness over but at least your fiance would be in the states.
  10. But how would this work if the fiance is in the US when the embassy calls for the interview?
  11. How will this work when you get called to the embassy for your K1 interview? Would that still apply? Would they have to fly back to their country for it?
