I M NOT sure why you had to wait 1 year did you not inquire?

Hi VJ family, i have my vawa approved since 41 days now. My i485 has been hold since august 2020 and i made inquires have not heard anything yet. Info pass is still waiting to be scheduled. However, my i485 is in local office sitting my immigration officer told me it will wait there until vawa approves. I am based in NYC. when can i expect medicals? ANYONE WITH NYC EXPERIENCE PLEASE SHARE ! @Demise @Stillwinning!!!😊

is there any reason why some cases get approved earlier ?

Someone who filled same time as me got approved in June 10 th 2022 but the person filed few days after. Just makes me think which month are they working now? I know some ppl mentioned it depends on case to case basis but still confused.

I literally just pulled up record on uscis case tracker with my receipt number and i see theres an october 2020 approval. Can anyone tell me how this vawa cases are being adjudicated?

VAWA can be expedited, this is true data and mentioned through the person that she has some life threatening situation thats why they approved her petition. Few people did get approved less than a year or little over a year. It really depend on case to case basis. We cannot overwhelm ourselves with what we see except just pray to get approvad.

Just a quick inquiry about latest processing time is showing 25.5 months but people who is currently in 27 months showing they can inquire in 33 months which does not make sense. Can you share any thoughts on it @sandranj and @Demise Thank you.
