  1. Hey guys

Just wanted to make sure I'm good to send the Packet 3 to the US Embassy.

I have filled in the DS-230 Part One and 2, Although the website does not mention part 2.

    DS-156 is done, 2 copies.

    DS-156K done, 2 copies.

    DS-157 is done, 2 copies.

The IV-15K, do I send that with the packet? I do have everything in terms of Police certificate, Birth certificate and Financial support.

Where is says medical date, what do I put? Does the embassy book my medical or do I call and book it?

Do I send the 3 passport pictures or bring them with me on my interview date?

    Thanks for any help.

    Luke and Deanna.

  2. Hey everybody,

Well I am currently in the US with my Fiancee and have been notified by my Mum that my packet 3 has arrived.

We have also been with Deanna's Dad to get the co-sponsor documents.

    We have;

    I-134 signed and notarized.

Letter from his employer including salary, full time and when he started working there.

Letter from his bank with current balance, total deposits over the last year and date opened.

    W2's for 2008.

    8 recent pay slips.

    I hoping this is enough.

    Thanks for your input.

    Luke and Deanna.

  3. To us it wasn't accurate. It said we'd be approved in March but we ended up getting approved towards the end of May. You'll find it changes a lot also. A friend of ours got approved quite a bit before the estimated date that was given. I think it varies, really. Just aim for 6 months as it is the standard time it takes to get your NOA2. If you get it before then that's great.

Also, even though we didn't find the estimated approval date helpful, we still checked it out of curiosity along with Igors list. ^_^

  4. Hey everyone.

Just to let you all know that we got our NOA2 on the 22nd of May. We didn't realize till the 25th as we weren't checking everyday by this point. 154 days in total from NOA1.

We did not get any touches besides the one for change of address. We were really not expecting it and then just decided to check and there it was!!!

Thanks to Minnew for your comment and especially to Bob and Patricia for their guidance and support. I remember when they got approved and was really pleased as they filed just before us. They have been asking us if we have had any news for a while now and we have had nothing to report..... until now!!!

So after starting this thread back in December we now go on to the next step... but will keep checking back to see everyone get their day.

NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND!!!! :protest:

We wish you all the Luck in the world,

    Luke and Deanna

  5. why dont you just buy the longer stay ticket and if needed change it to ! a shorter stay

I would do that but I have already bought the ticket.

Thanks to everyone else for the replies.

Just to clarify, I don't need to tell anyone just as long as it's within the 90 days unless I get a stamp that says specifically when I should be leaving?

  6. Hi Guys.

May seem a silly question but if I were to fly to the US on the Visa Waiver program and whilst there change my return date but still within the 90 days, is that allowed and if so would I need to tell anyone?

I want to visit my fiancee and my return is set for 2 weeks but I may want to stay longer depending on if our case gets adjudicated while I am there.

Hope everyone is well and happy.

    Luke and Deanna.

  7. Well Deanna is on her way to the UK to visit me as I type. She is landing in the morning and I am so so excited. Really don't know what to do with myself. I mean I need to sleep but knowing she is on her way and as every second passes she gets even closer to me is just an amazing feeling. It has been almost 100 days since I saw her and it feels so long ago. I really don't know how I will behave when I see her. I mean it will be like meeting all over again.

I'm a mix of nerves and excitement right now. I just really can't wait to see the love of my life in person.

I hope you are all well and that you see your loved ones soon or are with them now.

    All the best

    Luke.. and soon Deanna.

  8. Hey everyone.

Just wanted to see how you are all keeping. So now that December is over and done this is it now. The chance to become a CSC December filer is now over, our lines are now closed...

So where are you all? There must be more than this.... Well if this is it then that's OK.

Well I hope everyone is doing well. As time goes by it brings us further away from the day we sent our petition but closer to our day of approval... Hopefully.

So Deanna is coming to visit me in the UK in only 4 days after nearly 100 days apart. So I am very excited about that.

Anyway, hang in there everyone and look forward to hearing from you all.

  9. Hey, thanks for doing this.

Nice to be able to choose if you want to view between sent date and NOA1 date.

Although we moved from like the 260's to 300+ but I do realize it includes people outside of waiting times also.

I am hoping once we can figure out who is not using the site anymore we can remove their timelines and have a better idea of what's going on.

Anyway, keep it up. I updated our NOA1 date to the day it was issued and not the day we received it.

    Luke and Deanna

  10. I was wondering that. Trying to figure out what path they take. Like I said they don't update it very often so you just have to wait it out. Ours arrived in the morning on the second day after posting. Thing is with Christmas I imagine the USPS are really busy.

Just keep checking it online and hopefully it will arrive for you soon. Then you have to play the other waiting game for you NOA1!

    Good Luck guys.

    Luke and Deanna.

  11. Well Congrats on sending it out. That is one small step closer to your goal. I hope it arrives soon for you, as long as you can track it at least you know when it gets there. Although they are pretty slow at updating the tracking site.

Deanna was almost a little sad to let it go after we put so much work into it.

Alright then guys, thanks for keeping up posted and for updating your timeline. It's kind of nice to see yourself on the list and check to see what number you are and how many places you have climbed.

We are checking the mail everyday to waiting on our NOA1. Hope it arrives soon.

    Luke and Deanna

  12. Hey that's great guys.

Well use tomorrow to get it all perfect. Check it over, make sure it's all in order and your cheque/money order is the correct amount. Deanna did a really good job of organizing ours and tabbed it all out into sections to make it easier for the adjudicator. We sent it via USPS express which was supposed to arrive the next day by 3 but arrived the next day so we got our money back.

Good luck getting it sent and let us know when you send it.

    Luke and Deanna

Ohh, and make sure you fill in your time line when you do. The you can see yourself on igors list.

  13. I will be a December CSC filer! We are waiting on his (USC) Birth Certificate, it should be there by tomorrow! *crosses fingers*

    So excited!

    Ohh that's cool.

Hope it arrives for you soon and make sure that you send your package so you can track it and make sure it gets there ok.

Keep us updated and let us know when you send it and when it arrives. Also when you get your NOA1, we are still waiting for ours.

    Luke and Deanna

  14. Well our package finally arrived. A day late but at least it got there. It arrived at 11:20 and was signed by a V Semegi.

So now we play the waiting game.... According to the Immigration Timelines, the average wait (over the past 6 months) from sending to receiving NOA 1 is 8 days.

So going by that we should hope to get ours on the 23rd of December. We'll see I guess.

Will keep you up to date. come on man, where are all the December filers..ha.

    Hope everyone is well.

    Luke and Deanna

  15. Hey, good to see some people out there.

Well I just discovered Igors List, what a cool thing! For those of you who are like I was 5 minutes ago just click on this link

    http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/default.aspx

    It is pretty self explanatory.

We are number 312 within standard processing time. Can't help but feel for the people who are out of standard processing times.

Be sure to fill in your official timeline (not your sig) on VJ and you too will be on Igors list.

    Hope everyone is well.
