How you get packet 3 and 4 depends on the country. Some mail it out, others you can go online and download the forms, others you have to come and pick it up.

You could call NVC after 10-14 days and probably your case will be already sent to the embassy and you'll get NVC number..

NVC wont send you anything...consulate will once interview will be schudeled..

I can't wait to have that feeling of knowing we're one step closer to being together. Our NOA1 is Oct. 25, so now I'm excited knowing that October filers are getting approvals from VSC. YAY!!!

They are valid for four months. You need to have your interview within that four months or ask for an extension.

Friend of mine got a NOA2 at 12.26.2007,,

Few days before they got NOA2 copy in the mail saying

Approval notice Valid from 12/26/2007 to 04/26/2008

What does it mean?

I didnt know that NOA2 has a period of time where it could be exprred..

uscis has no sense..

Probably they will do something and expedite your case......

We have timelines in russian forum as well..

One couple got NOA2 on december 28 with

september 19 NOA1..

So..I believe early october filers will show up at the end of January...

Though you've atleast been TOUCHED, our case hasn't gotten a TOUCH since October 12 and we filed it on October 9.

We changed address and let uscis know about it..Thats why got touches..

Hope by end of February all October filers will have NOA2...

Guess they can't treat me any worse so ... Very Sucking Center

I think Feb for Oct filers is a very real possibility too. It all depends on how quickly they can get through the July filers. July is a *huge* month. If they can get through July, August and onwards will go fast.
