Logged on to my account this morning and interview has been scheduled for November 16th at the Charlotte Field Office. So excited!! I was checking my account every hour since 7am this morning because my husband and daughter got their interviews scheduled yesterday for November 15th. Our applications all went in on the same day, March 19th 2021 and our biometrics were all reused the same day. Now on to the civics questions!!

I applied March 19, Charlotte NC field office and my estimated time has gone from 10 months to 7 months. I know this doesn’t mean anything but I like to dream!!

I filed at the end of June, and got immediate notice of biometric reuse, but nothing since… hoping to hear next steps in next couple of months, seems like 2021 filers with reused biometrics are going quicker than the estimates… how is yours going?
Hey fellow Brit, my N400 citizenship application went in online March 19th, immediate notice of biometric reuse same as you. Current estimated wait time is showing 11 months but don't think these estimates are in any way accurate! Hoping I hear something soon! Good luck on your journey!

Hi all,
Getting so nervous for my interview on Tuesday!
If anyone has done theirs already, could you share how it went?
Were you allowed to bring your cell phone inside?
Anyone been at the LA office?
And are masks not required anymore for vaccinated people?
Thank you!
You got this Jingo, best of luck!

Today is an official federal holiday, Juneteenth, all USCIS offices are closed and all ceremonies, interviews, biometrics scheduled for today will be automatically rescheduled for another date. Thousands of people are affected by this new holiday. I hope all those who had appointments for today get rescheduled quickly. I am a proponent of the holiday, however I think this could've been handled differently and more sensitively. I'm sure many people haven't heard about the closing will be showing up to their appointments to their surprise find the doors closed.
I totally agree with you Sartre and now we have even more of a backlog for everyone.

All done here!! Oath ceremony on Tuesday, 7 years, 2 months 15 days since I entered the USA to start my new life, but absolutely worth it.
I wish the very best of luck to all of those still in the process!
Many congrats!

My interview was scheduled today for August 5th. As far as I know, my field office (it is in different city than where I live) does not offer same day Oath. My city holds a citizenship ceremony end of each month.
03/09/21 - Applied N-400 online
03/09/21 - Biometrics reuse
06/16/21 - Interview Scheduled
08/05/21 - Interview date
Big relief. Now getting ready for the civics test.
Congrats! Are you 3 or 5 year? What field office?

My estimated time has changed also,. My field office is Charlotte and I applied March 19th 2021. Went from 7 months to 12 months and my 5 year GC anniversary is tomorrow. I'm not a happy person today!!

Interesting. I live in Pflugerville too and applied in June 2020.
Yeah, we’re a family of 4, my son is in Texas and myself, husband and daughter all live in Charlotte, I did all the apps and sent them in all at the same time so not sure how these field offices are working, you’ve been waiting such a long time!

Which city does he live in? Also did you say March 2021, or March 2020?
He lives in Pflugerville and his app went in March 2021

That's great! I really don't think you'll have to wait 13 months now
My son received his interview notice this morning for July 13 in San Antonio. Applied March 19th 2021

We’re a family of 4, 3 of us in Charlotte and my son in Texas. I applied with all applications at the same time on March 19th and my son now has his interview notice for July 13 in the San Antonio office. The rest of us are still waiting for Charlotte to get moving!

My interview got scheduled today for July 2nd! Los Angeles, applied on March 29th. I am so happy it happened this fast!
Congrats!

Anyone else’s estimated wait time disappeared. Checked my online account this morning and it’s gone, it was there yesterday

I think it is the minimum time from your 3 or 5 year anniversary. If you still haven't reached 3 or 5 year anniversary, that delta adds to the minimum time.
Ah right that would make sense because my 5 year anniversary is next month, so does that mean my 8 months starts from today? I’m a March filer, exactly 2 months today since I applied so my total time will be about 10 months from March

Actually it is set to the minimum time it takes for your respective service center to process a case if all of you check.
Not sure it is Canonical. My field office is Charlotte, NC and the minimum time is 7 months, my estimated wait time is 8 months, not sure if that’s from application or today.

Thanks for the spreadsheet DaveNi, much appreciated!

Thanks Tom G! We waited 7 months to get the interview notice which compared to some poor souls that’s pretty quick. Saying that my son lives in Texas and his app went to San Antonio and he’s been a citizen since July 13 so very quick for him. I wish you all the best and hope you hear soon!
