    The way a congressman/USCIS has explained to me, once your case reaches your FO, an officer will review your case to determine whether an interview is required. Therefore, once they are done reviewing what they need to review, they will either invite you to the interview or send you an RFE for medical (if you haven’t submitted it already/if the medical has expired). Basically, you just have to wait for the FO to contact you with further instructions.

    Vawa usually takes longer than 19 months, so you might have another 6 mo worth of waiting time or more. the fact that they haven’t asked you for an RFE does not mean much. It simply means that they don’t need anything from you at this point. They might send you an RFE later or they might not. Hopefully, they will be able to approve your case without any RFEs. You just have to wait a little bit.

    I have a similar situation:waiting since fall. They might not send you a transfer notice. I contacted my congressman to inquire about my case. After that the case was transferred to the field office, but I still did not receive a notice. The only reason why I know it’s been transferred is because USCIS has said so to the congressman. You can either wait or inquire with your congress representative.
