I think you need to take things slowly...you both should get to know yourselves more better...though love is blind and he might be showing signs of possessing all you want in a man..But you should take your time...Give it time ..

Trust me you both have different cultural values and need time to really understand each other..Please don't allow someone leverage on you just for green card..

Relax,  give it time, time is the greatest factor that reveals sincerity and deceptive intentions..

For example me and my fiancee were school mate before she travelled in 2005...we reconnected in 2010 on Facebook...we were friends since 2010 and officially started dating 2018 and we just started the K1 visa..

I am not saying your own should take as long as mine ...but all I am saying is you need to adequately know whom you want to file a petition or else ..

Take life easy ,I can understand  it's not really easy with u right now emotionally..but rushing up things with him is not gonna help either...

Hey guys. Our case was just approved today. It went to "case being actively reviewed" this morning and then to "case approved" after couple of hours. Thanks everyone for sharing your timeline and experience. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting for an approval!

Some insight into what I observed while waiting:
    1. When I received my NOA1 the letter said my case was in California Service Center.
    2. When I called USCIS to inquire about my case 2-3 months later, they told me it was transferred to the Potomac Service Center. I did not receive any notice neither through mail nor email.
    3. When I called multiple times to double check the location of my case, I've had multiple USCIS customer service reps giving me conflicting information, with some saying it's in Texas Service Center and some saying it's in Potomac. Apparently they have multiple databases where they check this information and may end up giving you wrong information. Eventually I spoke to Tier 2 officers and 2 of them confirmed that my case is in Potomac.
    4. When I called yesterday to inquire about my case I was told that there was an "evidence review" that occurred recently and that the case was assigned to an adjudicating officer. Today the case went to "actively reviewing" and then "approved".

Just thought I might share this in case you guys are in the same situation.

We received our NOA2 notice from Potomac Service Center via email (saying the paper copy has been mailed) on 3/16/21; our NOA1 date was 5/7/20...we are elated! It seems as though USCIS (or at least Potomac) has been putting on some extra steam lately, perhaps. Hopefully others who are waiting to be will receive theirs soon too!

Did you both study in the same medical school? Maybe even take some of the same classes? If so, I would try to include some sort of enrollment info or other records that show that you were both there at the same time. This would need to be translated if not in English. Do either of you have evidence on your passport (visas/stamps) that show the time spent in Cuba? If so, I would include those as well. The more you can connect the dots for time spent together, the better.

For example, I met my wife while living abroad in Ecuador. As part of my evidence, I included my flight itinerary and passport stamps when I arrived the first time, my Ecuadorian visas from when I was living down there, and my passport stamp when I came back to the US. This was in addition to a document showing key dates in our relationship history as well as another document detailing all of the periods of time spent together in person. In our case, we also had numerous other visits after I moved back to the US, which I documented with boarding passes and passport stamps, but it sound like your main time spent together was in Cuba, so I'd focus on that.

It's not clear whether you are in the US right now, but other evidence that I have suggested to others that can be relatively easy to do even if one spouse is not in the US and doesn't have a SSN:
Add your husband as a spouse beneficiary to any retirement accounts you may have Add your husband as an Authorized User to a credit card or two (some cards are easier to do this with than others) Since you already submitted the petition, there is no guarantee that USCIS would review any additional evidence right now (for example, if uploaded to your account online) unless they were to specifically request it. So if you do submit anything like that, I would be sure to have it on hand for the interview as well when the time comes.

In our case I am continuing to collect evidence, especially of visits that happened after sending in the initial petition, so that my wife can eventually take it to her interview.
