We had our interview yesterday for AOS and were approved  

Wedding date set for this friday at the courthouse

1. Going to have a formal ceremony next summer 

Spending Christmas here in Delaware with my fiance  so happy. We're going Monday to get our marriage license.

Are there still issues scheduling the medical exams?  Trying to set it up for my partner so we can get everything done and get him here

As far as I know it's taken to the interview, you don't file it anywhere.

Is anyone having luck scheduling an interview?  I went today to do the DS160 and went to schedule and the site said they only had days for Nov 3 4 and 9, everything else is greyed out for over a year =/

I got an email saying my case was in transit to Bogota  my NOA2 date was 7/19/2021

I don't know why the Nvc is telling people that but you can even see from the stats released that the embassy has been issuing visas. Last month they asked for cases up to noa2 of march of 2021 but they asked for about 3 or 4 months of cases. Basically, dont get your info from folks at the Nvc because at best they are misinformed about what is happening at individual embassies. Best to get your info directly from the embassys social networks l, Facebook, Instagram because the embassy itself published that they are processing k1 visas.

Is the Embassy closed?  I just received an email stating the Bogota embassy is closed for routine visa applications.

What vaccines are accepted?  My fiance is in Venezuela and ended up getting the Sinochem two dose.

Does anyone know how to check the case status once you get the NVC case number?  I'm not sure how to or where to go

NOA2 July 19th after 273 days!!!! now the next wait begins but hopefully it's not as long

There needs to be more individual responsibility in these agencies. The individual agent responsible for your file should have to write you a letter explaining why they are not making a decision. No hiding behind the faceless agency or "team."

All of the avenues for escalating are fake - congressman, ombudsman, uscis case inquiry - they all give the same canned response and produce no actual results.

Exactly.  I submitted the inquiry wehre the case was outside the normal processing time was told I would hear back by July 4th.  I contacted them on the 9th and got the canned 'your case is being processed and yada yada' meanwhile my Fiance is in Colombia away from his friends and family in Venezuela.

My fiance is Venezuelan currently residing in Colombia.  He wishes to move to Mexico.  Currently we are in NOA1 status.  Is there a way if he chooses to move to Mexico if we can change the interview location to Mexico?

We've waited all this time a few more weeks won't hurt us!  I've been blessed to be able to spend the time in Colombia with my fiancé since November but have to return this week :(. Hoping next time I return is for his interview

Hello,

My fiance is living in Colombia but is a Venezuelan national.  We are still in NOA1 waiting for NOA2.  While we are waiting I am wondering what we have to do to get the police certificate for Venezuela.  Is there a time frame it's valid for?  If we start the process now and get it too soon does it expire?  He doesn't plan on returning to Venezuela as his passport there is expired nd he cannot leave until it's renewed which is another question for another day lol.
