And i could check but when did you send it?  If it was the end of September, you should hear something within the next maybe week or 2?  or it will update overnight and you'll see tomorrow.
Basically its like you prodded them and they said "whoa, we should work on this now that they contacted us."  You inspired them to complete their adjudication!

Alright an update on the call I just finished with.  It took me all of 2 hours on the phone but it was well worth it.  They said no movement on the case.  I said "well i figured with the little evidence I sent back, it would not take this long.  I did not expect a day or 2 of turnaround but I figured a week would do it."  He said "hold on" and he looked some more.  He said "well your case is outside of processing time but i see you put in an outside of processing time request already so I cannot do it.  But you did the right thing and you can let yourself and the little lady know (because i called her that) that you guys are at the last stretch of the process.  I cannot give you a date and there is a chance it might take 30 days from now to respond or move forward but just let her know that.  I know you and her are both probably (and i cannot remember how he put it but it was good) but you guys are near the end and just hang in there a little longer."  I want to be that guy.  That is my aspiration every day at work and what I strive for with every post I make, save the previous one where I laugh at myself for how I sounded.  I wish everyone talked to this guy that I did.
So for those of you who do have a case outside of processing time and want to wait on the phone, do it and let USCIS put in the e-request for you.  If not, then at this moment put in the e-request yourself!!   And know it might take a week or 2 before you hear something, if not longer, but after 30 days, put in another.  And I would maybe call if it takes that long.  I have some at least good news for her.  Now it is time to go grocery shopping and do some laundry.

Update on response to RFE request:
I went crazy.  I forgot to call USCIS on Friday so I am currently on hold with them.  I also put in an e-request and notified that I only sent back a divorce decree and a 1/4 page letter.  It does not take 2 weeks to go through this information.  I was civil in the message but i also expressed both of ours concerns.  I hope one of these two gets me somewhere with this.  If not, well then I will call and inquire until I hear something.  I leave for Ukraine on Thursday so it will be harder to call USCIS from there and it would be awesome to know something before I arrive to Ukraine this time.  I know patience is the key, but I guess what gets me is it says "we have resumed working on your case" which for me means they are actively working on it and not just sitting on it.  And unless they are examining one letter at a time, the documents take maybe a day to go through with a fine tooth comb.  
I apologize if I sound whiney or complaining as I know to be patient.  It has just been a weird day.  I am ecstatic for the people who inquired outside of processing and received answers as that is another seed of hope planted.  If you all skipped down to this sentence, know that I smile at this moment when I write this.  hang in there and know you can vent like I did above and we all understand in some way, shape or form.  And also know that patience is truly the key.  

Hang in there, friend. I’ve been so discouraged too the past weeks so I was quiet here. I’m thinking the date when you received the letter could factor in too? I really tried to come up with stuff to make the USCIS work process make sense to me. We got the letter on 03/15. When did you get yours?

thank you for your help. My case was supposed to go to Afghanistan but currently there is no embassy 😔. But I called NVC if they have at least received it from uscis, they told me they cannot find my case in their system which means they have not received it yet? I don’t know honestly. 

The 60 days is a blanket reasponse they give everybody. They told me not to call back until Nov. 6 and that my embassy in Santo Domingo wasn't requesting K1 visas. That was all a lie. I have screenshots of a WhatsApp group I'm in for Dominican k1 visas. I wouldn't trust that.
I would reach out to your state senator or representative to help you with the inquiry and also request an expedite due to technical error or delay at the NVC. 
I don't know how long it will take for a response though. From your state rep or direct inquiry at NVC. 
 

If u received ur noa2 there email is on the letter , just search nvc phone number and it comes up the earlier u call the better chance of less waiting 

Omg that is so fast my service center is California and received uscis approval notice 8/20 but as of 9/29 still no case with NVC.

All of social media is down and so I can't talk to my fiance on WhatsApp app. 😥 But we got our NVC case number and Invoice ID today!!! Just got off the phone after being on hold for 2 hours!!! 
We were approved Sept. 10th (NOA)
Got invoice Id today (Oct. 4)
I'm so relieved 🥲

I know 😩😩😩. We are using iMessage for now but hopefully it comes back on soon 😮‍💨

Thank you everyone for your response. Sadly there is no more us embassy in my country it has been destroyed so I am just left out for now 😔 till they can find an embassy to take my case and also my fiancé is stuck in the country unable to leave for now 😔. 

I called NVC this morning and got my Rio de Janeiro case #. My case arrived at the NVC on Sept 28 (NOA2 Sept 9) and the person I spoke with said it's already out of administrative processing and should go to the consulate in the next batch. I'm SOOOO excited!! It doesn't feel real!!!

NVC is pretty much an evil step sister of USCIS, the agents don't know much and unless they see something clear cut they usually read off a script, if it has been over 60 days since your approval you can inquire via email (but don't hold your breath)
 
Also would you be kind enough to fill your timeline here so you can easily find people in similar situation as yours and see how their cases are moving.

You need to call them and request your NVC number. They will not contact you. Once you receive your NVC number you can track your case online until it gets sent to your embassy.
When your case gets sent to your embassy NVC will then send you an email usually but besides that you will not hear from them.

I just got off the phone with them. They told me it takes 45-60 days to get an invoice number. The lady said they don't expedite k1 visas, which I was planning to do. With K1 visas, they don't do anything except fwd to specified embassy when the embassy requests it. 
Until the embassy requests K1 visas they get held at NVC. She told me to call back around Nov. 6th 😫😭🥺. Doesn't make sense because I have heard other people have gotten their invoice number in less than a month. I'm going to call once a week to check on our status. 

I say this because when I talked with a lady from the NVC she said as the petitioner I will not get an email or any contact from the NVC, they don't do anything with K1 visas except forward them when requested to the embassy. 
 
I called again yesterday after seeing someone with the same approval date as mine get their invoice ID. Again a different answer. This lady said what you said all parties with contact info will receive emails. I should also get a letter.

 What email addresses did you include in your original I129f petition?
 
 If you included your email address then you will get the NVC letter when your case gets shipped to the embassy and you will also get the interview letter for Santo Domingo.

 
The only discrepancy we’ve been seeing in the WhatsApp group for DR, is it being sent to lawyer’s emails if you have representation or if your lawyer has omitted any emails then they will use snail mail to mail the interview letter to the beneficiaries home address which takes extra long😳
( like the girl in the group who missed her interview date remember?)

So many different experiences with the phone calls. Because I'm the petitioner they won't notify me. I have to just keep checking. They will send to embassy and embassy will reach out to my partner

I called nvc. I waited 55 minutes and we talked, they said they still haven't created a case number, they said I have to wait a little longer, I have to wait 16 more days and. They said they would send an e-mail for the case number.
