I emailed Abu Dhabi and asked if specifically a wet signature or copy is ok. They said a copy was ok.

It’s for a K1. So when we got the email from the consulate that they received our package and we’re good to continue. We did the DS160, payed the fee, and made the next available appointment (after weeks of checking).

Did anyone’s appointment get canceled?

We received an email stating that our appointment in 2 weeks (Feb 17) has been canceled without any explanation. This is for our K1 visa.

Could the current events with Yemen be causing this?

Hi VJ team,

Yesterday we received a message that our appointment in Abu Dhabi was canceled. We were only 2 weeks away.

No explanation within the email. Appointments are so hard to come by.

Hi VJ Team!

Has anyone recently scheduled an appointment?
 

I’m checking the Visa support website for Abu Dhabi and I only see No Availablr Appointments for my K visa.

I wonder if they release appointments every so often or if it’s on hold.

My RFE response got messed up in the mail and was sent back to me which cause some delays. 

currently waiting to hear back on my response.

RFE Reply(s) :2021-10-15

My RFE was on proof of meeting within 2yrs. I submitted itineraries and photo’s at first which was what they wanted clarification on. 
 

I ended up sending bank statements, passport stamp photos, boarding tickets, hotel receipts, and etc… 30 pages worth lol.

Which I should have done from the beginning :(. Hindsight 20/20.

It took 8 days for my response back.
 

Today, my case updated with an RFE. So now I’ll wait for the mail to see what I need to further clarify!

I did about 2 weeks ago.

Here’s the reply:

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* shortly.

I’m in the 19.85% waiting for something

I got a text from them with my receipt # and statement that my form I-797 is coming in the mail.

Just received my NOA1. PO Box received Jan 8th 2021.
