Hey, I literally just got an email to pick up the document. It says within an hour. But judging this time of day, I’ll pick up tomorrow.

Hey. Nothing yet. Interview done on Tuesday. Status changed to issued on Friday but I haven’t been notified to pick it up just yet.

Good morning, they said one to two weeks. But I see persons saying 3 days to a week.

Where did we meet 

When did he migrate 

When did the relationship start and if the relationship continued straight through

When he joined the army and where he is stationed. 
who attended the wedding and where it was held (printed wedding pics last minute.... i showed her that time)

when last we spoke and how we normally communicate 

She asked when was the last time he visited. 
 

It lasted about 3-5 minutes.

I just want to update everyone. I did my interview yesterday and was successful. I am now awaiting my passport. 
 

I just want to encourage those waiting that you are not alone and next year this time you will have different problems. This won’t be one of them.  Best believe Nothing happens before the time. 

I did myself a favor when I sent the transcript before they asked for it. I automatically skipped the process of them asking for it.  
 

I also think they’re working with me since my husband gets deployed early July. 

I got my date early this morning but did not know till this evening. Thank you guys for the guidance and for encouraging me to expedite. I’m really grateful.

Those usually come from NVC, not the Embassy. The Embassy once sent me an appointment letter ladened with incorrect, outdated information anyway. The only thing though, the end of the email say, Kindly see attachment, but there was no attachment.  Hence, I am without the appointment letter with all the necessary instructions.  I sent them an email advising of this, so if I don't hear from them tomorrow, I will have to call on Monday.

 

I know God has been good to me.  I pray for a date and I specifically ask for a certain time, and God answered my prayers. Amen Jesus

My brother has been stalking the appointment page for a date for his J1 application. He just got a date for Monday at 9:30am.

Okay no problem. Based on Red Rose’s timeline I suspect they’re gonna ask for updated tax documents next. I already have the transcript. I don’t know if it makes sense to send it to them before they ask so I can skip that or just wait.

I agree. If you see where your case can be expedited, regardless of category I suggest you try.

I suppose that means mine will change within a week too. 
 

Red rose, one of the ladies I see complaining on Facebook, her expedite was approved. She says she’s been waiting over a month. Also I notice she’s IR5 and there was a comment where she and another lady was upset that children and spouses seem to be getting priority. 

Update. Expedite request approved. I’ll update you guys accordingly. 

Just an update. I got the email from NVC that my case is being reviewed yesterday. I am expecting the decision on Monday. I’ll let you guys know how that goes. 
 

Does anyone know how long it takes for the case to be sent to Kingston if approved?
