Your timeline is based on LFO which again, can easily be found on the USCIS processing times website. You can even input your Noa1 date to see when currently, you may be coming up to being outside of normal processing times.

That estimate is as good as it gets.

    Thank you!

    What is LFO?

Can you share the website? The only one I know to show processing time is this one, but it doesn't allow me to put in our NOA1 date

What does your complete status on the official USCIS webpage state?

If it's changed to "RFE Yada response docs Yada received", it will state on the bottom of the status WHEN you are eligible to contact and how.

Your RFE letter also likely stated the procedure and timeline. Suggest you check your photocopy of it and your status.

*it's usually 90 days from response received status you call so you likely inquired too soon and by wrong method of contact.

Also note that unless you filed an application online, you should be mailing RFE responses in. Although you are ABLE to submit your response online that doesn't mean you were ELIGIBLE to do that.

Check the above and clarify clearly what your status states and then I can advise further. It's not clear whether your RFE was even received and if that's the case you have a more urgent issue.

Hi there, the official status on USCIS is Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received.  This was received on 6/25.

Interestingly, the status for I-131 has changed to "Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action." since a couple of days ago. Would it be an indication that they are looking to approve the I-485 so the I-131 is no longer necessary?

From our letter for RFE, we were given the option to submit evidence either by mail or online. It also stated that we can reach out to USCIS if no response after 60 days.

Hopefully it will arrive fairly quickly.  You should receive packet 3, where you have to mail back your DS160 confirmation page, 2 passport photos, etc.  Our packet 3 included a copy of our originally mailed petition.  I’ve seen letters for packet 3 from different embassies that vary in what they request, so ymmv.  After, you successfully complete packet 3, then you will receive packet 4 with instructions to sign up for your interview date, they won’t just assign a date to you, you’ll get to pick.

Thank you! So you have to mail the documents instead of sending it electronically? I know you need to send an email confirmation to the consulate after the completion of DS-160, with scanned copies of the application's passport and a photo. I thought the DS-160 itself is also filed online.

APPROVED TODAY!!!!! NOA1 April 21, NOA2 May 19, got the notification via casetracker app close to 9am. 77000 group, no RFE. It took me over 390 days (I think 393 to be exact) but I'm thankful it didn't take me 400+ days like some of us. Though I am overjoyed for myself I know how hard it is to read of another approval and it not be yours, but have faith, it will come!!!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo happy right now! Updating my timeline now.

A big shoutout to this group, without it I wouldn't even be able to stay sane this whole time!!! Thank you to the users who take the time every single day to write out the daily updates!!!!!!!!

    Same here!

And yes! This group has been amazing to help me stay sane. Best of luck with everyone and I look forward to seeing y'all in MAY 2022 K1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY!!!

Ive thought about this too all the time but I think at the end of the day, you're extremely close.  And with the luck one would probably get after switching, youd get a slower cr1 service center or itd swap to one and you'd have to wait another 10+ months just for noa2 again.

I can see it being worth it if you cant wait for work authorization

I agree. Not to mention it takes time to plan and get married. And you'd likely not getting the type of ceremony you want.

It's going to get a lot worse, there are still 66% of april filers still waiting for approval. We're easily going to be into June with 50% of cases in April still awaiting decision.

The April doc link was posted 5 comments before yours.

    Thank you!

Do we know why it is getting longer? Priority shifted to other applications?

Also curious how the data is gathered. These numbers are pretty specific
