  1. OMG, you hit the nail on the head on this one, my mom is so like this!!!!! 😀
  2. I wonder since you travel with her that's why there is no issue exiting Manila, I have seen things being posted here that Filipinos being denied boarding at Manila immigration? No issues with CFO and her visa I'm guessing?
  3. This was my other thought, if she is able to pull this through the Covid guideline in HK will be a big that she might have problem with.
  4. Thank you, my thought was it seems unfair to everyone waiting as there has been a pretty significant backlog in Manila embassy and here she is going on vacation and all, I hope this will not be an issue.
  5. Hi guys, I belong to this FB PH group and a poster was asking if she can travel to Hongkong to have short vacation prior moving to the US? is there repercussion if her interview was expedited because of medical condition of the petitioner and she's going vacation prior moving here? I responded to her that if they have an emergency why even go vacation and her response was because she wanted to have a "happy goodbye between her partner and child"? (I was like WTH??) Anyway, will there be any issues with CFO? Or when she enters the US will there be any issues with her visa/i will CBP question her why she entered a few days later? I tried googling it and I can't find a straight answer.
  6. Didn’t someone post about this same topic? If OP wants to be the Guinea pig for this process then that will be very interesting and make sure report back to us what the outcome will be!
  7. My niece was 12 years old when she travelled here as unaccompanied minor, my ex sis in law petitioned for her as IR2(minor step child of US citizen) when we booked her flight PAL had been made aware that she was UMNR(airline code for unaccompanied minor), we applied for the DSWD clearance and as far as I can remember they asked for it, this was back in 2012 and she's 22 now.
  8. Yes he did, he went home to the Philippines 3 weeks ago and did the “wedding” there.
  9. Hi guys, My friend just married his husband from the Philippines and about to file for I-130, they did the Utah marriage. Since same sex marriage is not recognized in the Philippines then does the husband just need to do PDOS?
  10. How was your interview? Didn't you have it back in March?
  11. He could have filed for missing person report if this was the case. He seems more concerned about blocking the account vs her safety and well being(especially she is pregnant with his kid).
  12. Right?! This whole situation was really weird and sad but like I previously posted this was a big "WE TOLD YOU SO" Situation, now he is in a bigger mess that could have been prevented if he should have paused and did not go through with the whole visa process.
  13. Did it ever enter your mind to report her as missing person when she was gone for those many hours and you do not know where she was? It could have potentially been advantageous for you if you would have made that report.........
