Hi everyone, I received my interview notice on Friday. I DQ’d may 22 2020 (IR1) separated. Quick question is it better to receive the package in Juarez or in my spouses hometown in Mexico? Which is faster?

Someone just posted this morning.
Cc Mayo 22, 2020
IR1 juntos en 🇺🇲
Cita Agosto 2, 2021!!
I saw that, I am DQ'd May 22 2020 and nothing.

Last I heard, they were assigning quite a few appointments for people who DQ'd in May 2020. But there is still quite a few that have not received an appointment that DQ'd in may, including myself. it seems to have slowed down hopefully soon they'll start kicking off again.

We are around the same boat! Husband and I are together in the US waiting for apportionment in Juarez. We became DQ June 02 2020. It’s so hard waiting for an appointment when it seems just around the corner.
Not really... but our DQ dates are pretty close.
Has anyone heard of any newly assigned interviews?

Not really... It really varies. Are you or the beneficiary waiting in the US? Did you receive receive the "120" or "60" days email notification? If that is a "no" to both questions, there is a high change you will get an interview sometime this months or next.
If the answer is "yes" to both questions, then you're in the same ship as me and that ship is going nowhere at the moment. I've been waiting since November 2019.
No, my beneficiary is outside of the U.S. and has never been to the U.S., and I have never received a 60 or 120 day email. Hopefully I do soon. I just find it weird there are people getting interviews scheduled with a DQ as far out as May 28th when I DQ'd the 22nd. We will see.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if there is a specific timeframe in the month where they assign appointments. It is strange the way the assign appointments, from what I've seen. I have a DQ date of May 22(no appointment yet) and I've seen appointments go out with a DQ date of May 28th. Any thoughts?

My prayers are with you as well! I think often of every family that is going through this. I feel like those who have never been through this journey have no idea the pain.
Thank you! A lot of appointments for May going out! I am may 22

I am. he has been in Mexico since dec 2019. It has been so so hard on the kids and myself
I am apart from my spouse as well. But my spouse has never been to the U.S. Its a bit confusing how they do the interviews

Yeah we’ve had our attorney and senator both submit inquires! All my attorney can tell us is that she is seeing appointments move quickly so she’s hoping ours will be soon as well!
Are you separated from your spouse? This does sound very frustrating

I can only imagine :(. Being seperated must be hard!! At this point Im also confused how they are doing things. Makes no sense!!!
Have you guys tried calling someone for it. It does seem very strange they would do that? Maybe it depends on the type of case

the group chat on whatsapp that was added above. I joined and I've seen appointments with later CC's getting interviews, where they are both already together
22 hours ago, trac3rt said:yeah... my spouse and I are already in the US. They are prioritizing interviews for those who are separated from their relatives.
I don't believe that is the best approach, but that is just my own personal opinion...

Correct, CC November 2019.
Do you know why you have not received an interview date. I find that troubling and strange.

My case IR1 case completed back in 2019... so, yeah...
Your CC date is from 2019?

No doesn't matter. This is a pretty common occurrence. They might be able to update it at the CAS appointment. Otherwise, they are able to update it during the actual interview.
Ok thanks. Just an FYI There is a lot of interview letters going out with CC's for April

Does it matter if the petitioner renews his passport? All docs approved, just waiting on appointment in Juarez.

I would estimate 1-2 months, but some people don't get dates for whatever reason.
Hopefully, I am not sure if its based on whether if the beneficiary is with or apart from the sponsor. My beneficiary/spouse is in mexico

I have seen here interviews dated from ciudad Juarez with a CC date of March 2020. I don't have face book, i know a few of the members here do. Based on what you guys have seen/heard, How much longer would you guys estimate for a CC date of May 2020?

Wow congratulations.
I saw others from January in the facebook group also got appointments, then I saw one from February!
Hopefully they continue full steam ahead. But would still be nice to know why some are being skipped, I could end up in that group too.
What groups are being skipped. Beneficiaries that are in the U.S.?

@Juliet57 Hi Juliet was it a physical letter or was it an email?
-
@trac3rt Thank you. Hopefully soon.

I CC'd in may 2020. Beneficiary outside the U.S.. What do you guys estimate 7-8 months?
