    Why did you enter your wife's passport information on the I-130?  That information is only required if she was currently in the US when you submitted the I-130.  It is important to pay close attention to what is asked by the forms and to study the instructions.   There will be more forms involved through this process.
     
    You will need the new passport information when your petition is approved and is at the NVC stage, which will be sometime next year or so.

    There is no info online because it doesn't matter. She needs a valid passport during visa processing. What you put on i130 doesn't matter.

    Not an issue.  Enter the new passport details in the DS-260 form when the case gets to NVC stage after the I-130 petition is approved.  The passport info in the I-130 does not need to be updated.
