Document Verification Fee http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=128948&hl=
Applicants whose visa eligibility is dependent upon their marital status (i.e. K-1, K-3, CR-1, IR-1, F-1 and F2-B categories) will normally need to have their documents verified through the National Statistics Office (NSO) before the U.S. Embassy in Manila can issue the visa. Those with a delayed birth or death certificate or only local civil registrar copies of such documents may need to have their documents verified.
In order to avoid unnecessary delay in the visa issuance process, the U.S. Embassy in Manila strongly encourages applicants in the categories mentioned above to pay the document verification fee prior to their immigrant visa interview. Payment can be made through any Metrobank location. The cost of the document verification is PhP 650 per applicant. For specific instructions on how to pay the document verification fee, please click here. If you are unable to pay for the document verification before your immigrant visa interview, you may be asked to pay the fee on the day of your interview. Please note that if you pay on the day of your interview, there will be a delay of one to two weeks in the processing of your application.

Hi,
My Fiance has answered question 11 as below.I just checked on Visa Journey that it is tackled differently. Can you please let me know if this is fine,or if he should send a fresh I134.
11.I intend to make specific contributions to the support of the persons(s) named in item 3.
Answer :
I will bear all responsibilities related to her safety and well being, including financial responsibilities such as (but not limited to) airfare to and fro
from the UnitedStates, travel expenses in the US,living expenses and food.
On Visajourney the answer is - k1 permanent residence!!
Do I need a fresh I 134?
THANKS IN ADVANCE
In VJ sample, he didn't chose either "intend" or "do not intend" so he put N/A (k1 permanent residence). In your case your fiance chose "intend" so he put an explanation below. I don't think you need a fresh I -134.

Hope this will help:
USCIS Online Change of Address
Introduction
Customers who have an application and/or petition which has been filed with USCIS but has not yet been decided (also known as a 'pending' case) should notify USCIS of any change of address as soon as possible after moving.
The law requires nearly all non-U.S. Citizens1 to report a change of address within 10 days of moving by completing a Form AR-11. Abiding by these legal requirements and completing the necessary forms does not update an address on any applications or petitions pending with USCIS. Non-citizens with pending cases must do both.
Most customers can now notify USCIS to change their address on a pending case online here on our website. Non-citizens can also now complete the Form AR-11 online here on our website. (refer at the link below)
If you choose to change your address online using our Online Change of Address Notification tool, you will need to have some information available. Please have the following information available before you begin:
Your receipt notice or other notice we sent you showing your receipt number (if you have a pending case with USCIS).
Your new address
Your old address
If you have filed a petition for a family member, please have the names and biographical information for that person.
When you last entered the United States (if you cannot remember this information please fill in an approximate date)
Where you last entered the United States (through what port of entry you entered - whether by land, sea or air)
How do I submit my change of address if I don't have my receipt number?
An AR-11 Change of Address does not require a receipt number. You can submit your change of address for a Pending Case if you have not yet received a receipt number for your application.
If you have paid for your application by:
Check: You can update your address using USCIS' Change of Address Online. This requires your receipt number. Look at the back of the cancelled check that was returned to you through your bank. On the back is the 13-digit USCIS receipt number which looks like this (but will have different letters and numbers) ABC 01 23456789 Use your 13-digit number when you are asked to input your receipt number in your change of address.
Money order: You can report your change of address by calling USCIS Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-375-5283, and a USCIS Customer Service agent will enter your new address for you.

Hi everyone!! My fiancee and I are trying to schedule her embassy interview
Has anyone tried using the online sysytem "VisaPoint" to schedule? I wonder if I would have any better luck online then calling the cell center. So far when I call I'm told we can't yet schedule a date.
Has anyone recently gotten an interview date??
Thanks for any info
As far as i knew Visapoint is for Non-immigrant Visa only (tourist visa and such), Though K-1 is a Non-immigrant Visa it is considered as Immigrant Visa.
VisaPoint also provides information on immigrant visas for applicants who are pursuing legal resident status in the United States. However, VisaPoint cannot be used to schedule immigrant visa appointments.http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwhvpnt.html
Just keep on calling, USEM will come up with the interview dates eventually.

Hey guys my fiancee' just arrived here in Alaska a couple days ago, and we are attending a pre-marriage counseling thing at my Church, I guess we will need to attend six sessions, one sessions a week, before we can get married. So anyway, my question is after we get married how long can my fiancee' stay here for? We plan to file for AOS and all that, but is she going to have to go back home and come back here after it's approved or how does this work? I checked the 129f form and I'm just not sure if I understand things right... anyway thanks for your time
If she enters the US on K1 Visa (Fiance'e Visa) she got 90 days to marry you, after you got married you apply for AOS. She can't go anywhere outside the US until she got her Green Card, unless she applied for Advance Parole.
here's the step by step guide on how apply for AOS

Hello,
I have the medical next week and I went to take my passport pictures and actually bought several of them (for the interview and AOS). It cost a lot of money to do it here in Finland where I am at the moment. I was told that they know what kind of American photographs should be, but today I started to look at the measurements. The width is 4.7 inches (and height 2 inches). Is 4.7 inches in width acceptable?
4.7 inches? or do you mean 4.7 centimeters?
USCIS only reguires 2 inches x 2 inches (5.08 cm x 5.08 cm) photo for AOS applications, as well as for Visa Applications. 4.7 inches is way too big and 4.7cm is smaller than the required size. To be sure, get the 2"x2" size.

here you go : http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis
To create a USCIS email account:
scroll down at the bottom left side of the page, look for a small envelope with the word "Sign-up for USCIS e-mail Update".
or you check your status by entering you case number in the "Case Status" box at the bottom right corner of the page.

Hi everyone...Just curious...
Our K1 is on its way from NVC to Manila now. Once Manila receives it, how long is it taking them to schedule an interview/medical date? Also, how far out are they scheduling them now? Should we expect to get a date in late May or sometime June? Thanks...
Once the US Embassy in Manila receive your case, you will receive a letter informing you that your interview is now ready for schedule. Then you can schedule your interview by calling the Embassy. For more info click this link : http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfccqa.pdf
Congrats & Goodluck!

The annual income that appears on your Income Tax last year.

Congrats!.... No you don't have to send anything to the US Embassy, just bring all your documents on the day of your interview.

I got all my documents with me for the visa interview on June 3 but i just want to ask if the xerox is ok to pass with the original or i still a certified true copy of all of it? Im a newbie here and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Submit the originals, as for the forms, Birth Certificate, NBI Clearance and Cenomar they will keep it, but for the rest they will return it to you afterwards or if not they will send it back to you together with your Visa packet. Remember to make a photocopy of all documents that you submitting. Goodluck!

I just want to ask those who had their interview if the consul look for the school records, baptismal and medical records? All help will be appreciated.
You can bring your school records and baptismal if you have it, better be prepared than sorry. They already have your Medical records before your interview, St. Lukes will forward the result to the Embassy after your Medical. Goodluck!

Anyone who was done with their medical exam and interview in Manila. I am trying to figure out on which hotel is good to stay in Manila during the medical exam and interview. I am considering the distance of St. Luke's Medical Center, which is located in Quezon while the US Embassy is along Roxas Boulevard. I am planning to have the medical exam and interview done in one time when I will go to Manila. Could that be possible too? I think I will be staying in Manila for 5-7 days, or more than that?
You are not going to St. Lukes medical Center at Quezon City, you are going to take your Medical at their extension clinic which is located at 1177 J. Bocobo Street, Ermita, Manila. You need to take your Medical at least one week before your scheduled Interview so you may plan your stay in Manila from 7-14 days.
