Hi everyone I'm posing a questions for someone I know, her and her husband has been married for 2 years in the USA and she is a US citizens and he is not. They had their interview but they had to miss it cause she has cancer and she had to get her treatment. Now their interview is in January in Cuba and they was wondering how long will it take to get their visa and come back to the USA. Please help me. Thank You so much for your time.

Well we did everything and now that we are just waiting i hope i have everything this is what I have:

notorize copy of affidavit of support, 6 months check stubs, employment letter with letter head, 3 years tax papers, orginal receipt and approval notices, statement from NVC, copy of I-129F , western union receipts, package receipts, homeland security money order copy, phone bills, 125 pictures, 25 emails, invitations for our up coming wedding, I hope i did everything right if not please let me know. Thank you

I have to claim him on my tax papers. But someone told me I do not cause he was not living with me for 6 months. So, I dont know what to think anymore. Can someone please help me with this. Thank You

Hi everyone, Im about to send my fiance package off but I have a questions about the I-134 affidavit of support.

1. On the part that says relationship to sponsor where do my dad put there since he will be our co-sponsor?

2. On question 7 where do I put my annual salary do I put my year-to-date that is on my check stubs or w2 or do I put

what my letter of employment says?

3. What about my child support where do I put the income for that do I include it with my annual salary?

Hi VJ's I have a little problem. On my fiance birth certificate they have his mom name Elizabeth but his mom name is Florance. On our I-129F for his mom's name I put Florance name. What do he need to do to correct this problem before the interview? Thank You I hope someone can help me.

Hi VJ"S my fiance just pick up his package 3 and 4 on 9-27-07 and his interview date is on 11-19-07. Im kind of nervous about that. But my question is that Im working in New Orleans and lives in Mississippi and its a 2 hrs drive coming and going and its getting really hard. But, i was wondering what if I try to find a job in Mississippi, do you think it will be a problem? If so how soon can I switch jobs. Please help me with this.

Hi everyone I was told that if your filing for an I-134 affavidat of support that they go by the 100% guildlines not the 125% guildlines. Only when your filing for an I-864 is when they look at the 125%. Someone who knows this please help me so I can get a better understanding of this. Thank you.

Hello everyone, my question is, my dad is willing to co-sponsor for my fiance, he makes about 70k, do he have to fill out the I-134 form and do he have to include my mom's income as well. It's just my dad and mom. If he do sponsor my fiance do i need to still my letter of employment and 3 years of tax papers?

But my question is that my employment of letter is less than what they ask for of a family of 3 which is $21,462. Im lacking $922 but, with my gross pay, I make more that what my employment of letter says. Im above the poverty guidlines that is with my child support included. So do i need to show my check stubs if I do not have my w2 form in time. With my year to date on my check stubs I do make the above poverty guidlines. I hope someone can help me with this. This is very nerve wrecking . Thank you so much.

If your W2 or year to date pay stubbs show enough and your employer letter doesn't, then don't use the employer letter. Don't use anything that won't help make your case.

Thanks everyone for answering my question, but what if im qualify for this year 2007 can I use that, as long as I show my 6 months of check stubs or w2 form cause i think they look at your grooss pay not the net, if Im wrong please let me know. The other question is what if my fiance gets his visa before i can get my w2 form, will they be willing to let me use my 6 months of check stubs instead.

My question what if you dont meet the 2007 poverty guidlines and you have to get a co-sponsor. If Im lacking 2k so my co-sponsor has to make up the 2k or so she have to quality for an income of 2or 3?
