Hi all, I had my biometrics appointment September 23rd 2021 and put in an EAD expedite request on January 11th 2022 over the phone and got a service item number from the agent who said I would hear back from my local field office in 7 business days. There's been nothing so far from them. I've tried calling USCIS this week but the agents I got through to have been unhelpful. How can I query the status of the expedite? Can I use Emma? Thanks!

Had my bio appointment around 4 hours ago and case status has updated to 'Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS'. I'm not going to get toooo excited just yet!

I have the same timeline as you, but until now I still have not get a Biometrics appointment yet! Nothing show on the online account too.
The date for mine is September 23rd. Not sure how long it takes after that to have an interview scheduled so fingers crossed!

Log in to your USCIS account and under I-485 click “documents”. You should be able to view your acceptance letter and biometrics appointment.
Ah got you. Just got the letter in the mail today and appointment is a couple of weeks away so that’s a relief.

If you have access to the online account, you can check there for the biometrics details. Our letter arrived a week after our biometrics appointment, and we definitely wouldn't have known when it was scheduled had we not checked the online portal.
Oh I didn't even know you could do that! I've got access to my online account but I don't know where to access the details of the appointment. Thanks!

Question about the police certificate: I left my country of birth 20 years ago and moved to the UK. Do I need a police certificate for the UK (my most recent nationality) AND that country too?

Congratulations!! Join us in the DECEMBER 2020 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY thread and download the PDF file on the first post of the first page for tips, tricks and hacks to follow your case to the embassy. I'll post both links below:
https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/752616-december-2020-k-1-noa2-to-nvc-to-embassy/AWe need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.
So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.
ThanksThanks for all the helpful info. Profile updated!
