  1. I say you try reaching out to your congress representative & use the RFE timeframe. Worse case scenario you get a no. Hang on there, almost there! Good luck and keep us updated. Any information helps others here & anyone else in the future 😊.
  2. Sorry to hear that. This process definitely tests our patience, but you’re so close to the end. Have you tried reaching out to your congress representative for some help? They have a direct communication with USCIS that we don’t. And even thou they may take some time too, they will get an answer or at least trigger an action. I hope the answer comes soon. have you
  3. GC approved! Got an email from USCIS yesterday early morning and my status changed 6 hours later to approved.
  4. Has it gone over 60 days, and have you called them for an update? My letter said to call if I don’t hear from them after 60 days. Hopefully you don’t need to wait any longer & you get answer soon!
  5. Hi All, Update - received an RFE for our marriage certificate late last night 08 March (even though we provided 3 copies lol), and uploaded it today 09 March. We’ll see how long before we get another notification. good luck to everyone!
  6. Hey TedsGirl, I appreciate your encouraging words! Just wanted to let you know that my expedite request and EAD were approved today - card is being produced!
  7. Hi all! Just wanted to check and see if anyone has seen any movement lately whether its your case or someone else's? I'm about to hit 130 days of waiting for my EAD, and 2 expedite requests have not helped at all. My first request was ignored or forgotten because I never get an answer from USCIS even though they said they were going to contact me in 7 days. I'm on my second attempt through our district's congressman, and I still believe my request has been ignored or forgotten bc we have not received an answer. It sure is discouraging seeing others get their EADs/GC even though they applied mooonths after us. I know we need to have patience in this process, but there is so much patience one can have really. It's in my mind constantly, and it's frustrating not being able to do anything. Sorry for the small rant! Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
  8. Coming from someone that entered US as a K1 visa holder and submitted my adjustment of status along with my work permit in October --- we regret it because Texas takes FOREVER. So far I've only completed my biometrics appointment, and getting close to the 7 month wait time. If we would've known it was going to be this long, we would've gone with the CR1. Good luck!
  9. Hi there, i am on the same boat as you, waiting close to 200 days, but we can only be patient. Seeing others get their EADs & GCs that filed in Oct, gives me a little boost to believe our cases are moving and we will get there soon. Patience is key, hopefully you can distract yourself with something in the meantime. Hope all is well!
