Hello! I will be eligible to apply for citizenship in a few months. I currently petitioned my wife and we are awaiting interview at the embassy in Manila, Are there any advantages to change my status at this stage of the process, or will it delay the process further? Thank you to all who will answer.

Hello! Anyone here who has been sent an interview letter by the embassy without any expedite request? Their last update was that they were scheduling those with expedite requests dated as of November 2020. We've been DQed since Aug 2020, but they have denied my expedite request. This is extremely frustrating.
