Congratulations to you... It looks like it will be earlier than next summer or even earlier than next spring. I suspect it will be either in late January or February at the most! Happy for you...
Thank you! Fingers crossed! Hopefully you will get your interview update soon too!

We passed our interviews! The case status is updated to “Oath ceremony”.
Estimated shows Aug 2021... hopefully they will schedule sooner...
All the best to whoever is waiting.
Congrats on passing your interview! Could you please keep us informed about your oath ceremony? My husband is waiting for his ceremony as well.

I am just wondering if they are going to conduct indoor oath ceremonies this winter/spring... Or they have decided just to postpone them all till summer... 🤦♀️

If you remember, how long did it take in the MN office between the time when the bottom estimate of wait time for next step changed to "We are taking longer than expected to process your case" and the time you or your husband got your interview notification? Thanks
For my husband it was around 2 months. I did not have this " we are taking longer..." as my case moved really quick.
-
Forgot to mention that we got online notification on Dec 9th that the ceremony was scheduled on Dec 9th at 12.40pm... And we found it out at 12.50pm. My husband immediately drove there, and it turned out that it was technical error from their side and they sent out wrong notifications. Then 2 days later they cancelled it and now we are just waiting.
MN office is not just slow, it is a mess there. We are really mad at them!

How did you speak with a tier 2 rep? All I am able to get is their automated help line with their 1-800 number. Thanks
I am sorry for not replying earlier. I believe that they changed something, we tried to call them recently as well and all we could get was their automated help.

Anyone has an idea if there is same day oath after interview at MSP/ST.PAUL office?
No same day ceremonies, some other states have this option, not in MN, unfortunately.

My husband passed his interview on Nov 24th in MN and was said by the officer that it was not clear when his oath ceremony would be. As he said "they are looking for a place to have ceremonies "safely" due to Covid". Before they had all the ceremonies outside. So they moved my husband's processing time till Feb, 2021, have just checked again now it is June 2021! It is just ridiculous!

My documents tab isn’t showing the letter yet. How long after the interview notice showed up in the account was the actual interview date? Will they give 2-3 weeks notice for the interview?
Mine was 6 weeks after the interview notice showed up.

able to view oath ceremony letter. The "yay" is that is next Weds in fargo; so it's ONLY a 3.5 hour drive this time. The "nay" is that they aren't allowing ANY guests. That stinks that the oath takers won't get to share their special day with anyone. They better have someone take pictures AT LEAST
Silver lining is that we are at the last step. Finally.
I was lucky to have my oath in June and the ceremony was outside so my husband could take a photo of me from the distance. But winter is here and covid ruined everything. I think my husband will be in the same situation as you are:-(
Anyway, my congratulations to you! It is the final step after all! 😊

Gigantic cluster F has happened with my passport delivery.
Delivered to the wrong zip code. And on Sep 30th.
I have not received my Naturalization Certificate back.
It's either idiots over at Minneapolis agency or the USPS.
I called the customer service and they told me to wait 2 weeks and if I still have not received it then send DS 86 form with copy of driver's license and they will send me a new passport.
As for Naturalization Certificate I have to call them if I don't receive it in two weeks.
I have no choice but to wait and vent my silent irritation at the incapacity if these employees to do their job properly.
I really hope it's the USPS that ###### up because the delivery shows it came to my local usps at 4.44 a.m and then sent to wrong zip code.
This way if can hope atleast my Naturalization Certificate is delivered correctly.
It's Oct 2nd and informed delivery does not show anything that looks like an envelope carrying Naturalization Certificate.
My agency is Minneapolis also. Yesterday evening I got two updates that my application was approved and the passport was shipped and I should expect it by 10/07. Today morning I got another update that they are printing my passport (again?!?!) and I should expect it by 10/11. It is total mess over there!
Hope you will get your passport and certificate very soon!

I filed mid-September last year and have my interview scheduled for next week.
My estimated completion date was always listed as September 2020, until COVID then it bumped to October 2020.
Good luck with your interview!
My husband's estimated completion date was Oct 2020 and then changed to Nov 2020. He is really close to you, hopefully, we will get good news soon.

I filed in April 2019 and I see the same status that it’s taking longer than expected. Online processing time shows 23.5 months as of today. Did you file from MN? Mine is ND which is way slower even though it falls under Minneapolis processing office.
Yes, we filed from MN. Actually we both filed in Oct, I got my interview in March already, right before they closed everything, he is still waiting. I really do not know how it works. How long have you had this " we are taking longer..."?

Looks like Minneapolis office is the slowest moving office in the country...
Does anyone have any updates (interviews scheduled)? My husband filed in Oct, 2019, still no interview, but now he has " we are taking longer than expected... " in his online profile.

Thanks! No, there was no name change.
We both applied on Oct 16th 2019 and had biometrics done in Nov 2019. I do not know why, but looks like they separated our cases, I passed my interview in March 2020 and had oath ceremony in June 2020. He is still going thru this process, final step though.
