Hi everyone, We received our NOA2 on Dec 7th, and haven't heard anything from NVC.
I am from Venezuela, but as we currently don't have a US embassy, I will most likely have my interview in Bogotá. I read on the PDF at the beginning that I will need a P3 letter, Does any one have it for Bogotá?
P. S. We still haven't received a case number.. They said that they got our file but the system hasn't been updated yet

My fiancé and I are in the same situation. Just waiting. My fiancé is in Venezuela but was living in Peru when we applied for our K1. He went home to see his family and then Covid happened, and he has been stuck there since. The petition has been approved since March but it is sitting at NVC. I am working on getting it rerouted to Colombia. I check the embassy Facebook every week hoping for good news that K1 will resume, but so far they continue to say that they are not processing them at this time.
I hope they will resume soon. I have been back in the US for 2.5 years, and have not seen him for a year now. We just want to be reunited!
Wow... That happened to a lot of people. In February, We got the chance to meet in Colombia, and just after that COVID happened and everything closed, we are hoping that by the time we get an interview date borders here are opened. If not, it's going to be difficult to travel from Venezuela to Colombia (International flights are not working yet)
And I know the feeling 🙁😞 It's frustrating to not being able to meet in person.
Not knowing when they are going to resume activities is the worst.
We still haven't received NOA1. 🙄
All we can do is keep our hopes up, and try to have everything they could ask for ready.. I saw in the Embassy calendar that they are assigning dates... So hopefully K1s will come next.

My fiance, son, and I are also waiting for the interviews to resume as well. According to this thread, the interviews might resume in November or December.
Thank you for the info!

not anytime soon. That tells me they don't expect interviews to happen this year. don't think you will see any changes until after the election here.
Awww... 😢
The only thing left is to keep praying everything goes well with that, and our processes continue their course.

Is your spouse Venezuelan? They had expedited interviews earlier but they cancelled those as well. They shut it down since March. No word of return because of the concern for safety of their staff and people arriving. It's too complicated to hold interviews and ensure social distancing to have families reunited and get people with their loved ones.
However, McDonald's is open.
I'm the beneficiary, and I'm in Venezuela. The waiting is so frustrating. On the "bright" side all dates for appointments are non available for these year and two weeks ago there were still dates open for Nov and Dec... So maybe they are starting..? 🙏🏻

No, it won't be an issue. Your explanation for your meetings outside the country should suffice the CO and that it would have been a hinderance if he were to visit your country to meet your family. I am sure you can express the fact that he has spoken/met them in skype, facetime or some other video sessions that you have had together. I wouldn't worry about it. Besides, photos are secondary evidence and most times not asked for.
Thank you very much!

Hello, I am from Venezuela. My fiancé and I are on the early stages of K1 process (we filed on March 24, and are still waiting for NOA2), due to the tense situation in my country we had to meet in a neutral country, so we don't have pictures with our families and friends (not in person at least, only via videocall) will that be an issue when the time for the interview comes?

Unfortunately, they keep saying their IV and NIV routine services are still suspended. It's so frustrating! I did however see one person who filed an emergency expedite and had an interview. Other than that it's been slient. We are all still waiting too 😟.
I know!! It feels like forever since we received our NOA1. I guess we can only be patient and keep waiting... Thank you for your answer
