Hi Guys - 

I have my oath ceremony scheduled for tomorrow. Other than the appointment letter and green card, what other documents do I need to take?

Oath ceremony scheduled for Mar 4th.

Actual interview lasted maybe 10-15 mins. I had a folder with me with all the documents. As soon as we sat down at the immigration officers desk, he asked me to put the folder away and said, I don’t need to see anything. 

He started with the civics questions, I got the first 6 right. Then he asked me to read/write a simple sentence. After that he went through my N-400 application and asked if there were any updates (marital status etc). And finally he asked a whole bunch of yes/no questions about any criminal history, future loyalty to America etc etc. He then said I’m recommending your case to be approved and that was it.

Hi everyone, got notification that my FOIA request was completed. I filed it on 12/10, requested full A-file and it went under the complex track 2 processing. I received the files in my online account and it’s comprehensive. 600+ pages of all my USCIS applications from F1 visa to green card application, removal of conditional status and now citizenship application. It’s a pdf of all documents I had sent. Some interesting internal DHS docs as well regarding my background information, marriage status, employment.

I have my interview scheduled for 02/15, pretty sure FOIA triggered it. Thanks again to samxx for the tip.

Hi Guys- I received an interview scheduled notice today. Applied for FOIA on Dec 12th, went to step 3 on 12/23. But the estimated completion date is showing 13 months now, is that normal? Applied at the DALLAS Service center. 

Where can I get the PIN number to register my case to check for status of FOIA request? I have the Request ID#.

After USCIS posts the biometric reuse notice, what has been the average wait time for the next step?

Same thing happened to me. When i checked on Tuesday 01/19 the Estimated Completion Date went from Nov2021 to Mar 2021

Today it went back to Nov2021 but I now see the Biometric Reuse notice applied on 01/20

Applied at Texas Service Center, Receipt Date 05/19/20

Finally some news after almost 9 months of nothing!

Good luck to everyone who are getting updates. Reading a lot of people “bitching” and getting updates, just curious how exactly are you guys “bitching” to USCIS? I applied in May2020 at Dallas field office and I have not heard one thing except receipt notice. Thanks.
