Hi @Marius26! Did you already have your oath ceremony? If so, could you please share the timeline? I am also a Norfolk filer and looking for an idea of what to expect
Hi @stephbd , yes, my oath was on December 12. I applied on 6/13/2023, interview was on 10/26/2023, and oath was on 12/12/2023. So it took 6 months from applying to oath

In what order did you all sort the documents? Especially the payment...
I have a cover letter, table of content and THEN the check. I know, you're supposed to put it on top of the application, but I wasn't sure if it's also supposed to be on top of the cover letter, etc.
I'm already worried they won't look that far through the package and reject it 😅
I had the documents in the following order: cashier’s check first, form G-1145, cover letter, form i-751, copy of front and back of green card, and then all the other evidence. I don’t think they’re gonna be that strict. They should look through the documents before sending anything back. I think you’ll be fine

Really interested on this thread as I am in the same situation. Had my medical the 28th October and the interview on the 4th Nov, unfortunately my medical didn't arrive on time for the interview (I missed bringing my GP referral document to the medical exam). I called Visa Medicals and they said they sent all my docs to the Embassy the 2nd November and my case is still refused after a month since the interview happened? I really don't understand why and I think I am losing my mind waiting for it to be sorted!!!
For anyone who went through the same thing at the London Embassy, how long until it was sorted?? Thanks in advance!!
It took then 2 weeks to issue my visa from the day the medical arrived at the embassy. I am not sure if the UK lockdown has something to do with it and why it’s taking so long, but I suggest you enquire with the embassy about your visa and see what they say about it
-
They rarely ask for it. Haven’t seen anyone in London who has been asked for it. However I recommend filling it out and bringing it to the interview. Doesn’t hurt if you have extra stuff. I had it with me at my interview and haven’t been asked for it

My status just went back into AP, any updates with you?
Mine still shows ready. Probably they’re taking one at a time, but this is good news!! Let me know if it changes again today

Hello! Today my statue has changed to ‘ready’ as in, ‘ready for interview’!🤪 Hoping it’s just a mistake as we expedited our case at NVC. Will give it until tomorrow morning and if it’s still on ‘ready’ I’ll contact them. But from what I’ve seen from others , it should change status pretty quickly! Have you heard anything?
It’s normal to change into Ready. Mine has also changed. The next steps would be back to AP and then Issued. Hopefully tomorrow the visas will be issued and good to go. I don’t know why they are taking so long tbh, I’ve seen people who went into Ap - ready - ap - issued even in the same day, but I guess at least I should be thankful that the first AP is done. Second one is more of a formality and it’s just while they print the visa and then it goes to Issued

That's good news! Hopefully it will change soon!

We are in the same boat! 🙂 Yes - I will let you know once it’s issued. Hopefully both of us have that relief next week!
Hey, any updates on your case? Mine still shows "Administrative Processing"

Out of interest, when was your medical appointment? I'm trying to gauge how long it is currently taking for the results from the medical to be transferred over to the Embassy.
Medical takes 5 business days to be sent. Mine was on a Wednesday (19th) and was supposed to be there by the next Wednesday (26th). However, because my interview was on the 24th, I told visa medical and they assured me they will send my report sooner if they get my blood results sooner (which they did). They got my blood results on Monday and so they sent my results Monday afternoon.

Same exact situation as you, case went from refused to AP on the 26th, still haven’t been issued. I wouldn’t worry at all! Seems we’re both on the same boat!
Thanks for sharing. I just saw that some people who got AP on Wednesday got their visa issued later that day or next day, so I was wondering if I was the only one in this situation or not. I hope we'll hear something next week!! Please let me know if you have any updates with your case

Hi guys,
I had my interview on Monday, September 24th (in the morning) and I was given 221(g) pending my medical exam results. He said once they have the results, everything will be fine and they will process my visa.
I called visa medical on Tuesday (Sept 25) and they confirmed they sent my results to the embassy Monday afternoon. My case status went from “Refused” to “Administrative Processing” on Wednesday, Sept 26 and has been like that since.
How long does it take till the visa will be issued and sent to the pick up location? Can you please share your timelines with me?
Thank you
Woops, I just realized I said September dates. I meant August for all of them, as we're not even in September yet haha

Hi!
Had an email reply on Wednesday saying they had now received my medical and could see the uploaded W2 on CEAC. My case status changed from ‘refused’ to ‘administrative processing’. I was hope it would change quickly to issued but hadn’t yet, and now it’s the weekend, so crossing fingers it will change next week 🙂
I also had my interview on Monday, Aug 24 (in the morning) and was given 221(g) pending my medical, which according to Visa Medical, was sent Monday afternoon. The embassy also replied to my email that they received my medical and my status has changed from "Refused" to "Administrative Processing" on Wednesday, Aug 26 and has been like that since.
I saw that a lot of people who had their status changed to "Administrative Processing" on Wednesday, Aug 26 had the visa issued later that day or the next day. Hopefully ours will be issued next week. Due to the bank holiday on Monday, Tuesday might the earliest the visas will be issued. Please keep me posted if you have any updates regarding your application

Hi all,
Had my CR-1 Visa apt today which went well. Told would be approved once they received the medical (which Visa Medical tells me was sent electronically last week so they now need to send in the post - nightmare!) and also wanted me to upload my husbands W2 - the officer reviewed this in person today and it was fine but he told me to upload and gave me instructions to do so.
I’m back at work and went to upload but it’s the same NVC website! Where the exact same W2 is! So I’ve re-uploaded.
Has anyone else had this issue? It’s just more stress when it should of been a straight approval today... so frustrating. I tried phoning the embassy but was told there was no one I could talk to!
Thank you in advance!
Hi! Do you have any updates about your case? Has your status changed?

I just got my visa after an interview with the US embassy. Interview was on Monday. Wednesday morning it was in AP. Wednesday afternoon it was issued. And I just picked my passport up today.
Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully I'll hear from the embassy soon.

Administrative processing shouldn’t take more than a few days, assuming there are no other issues than the missing medical. I would check again Tuesday as they likely will be closed for the Bank Holiday on Monday. Maybe they had a lot of staff take Friday off to make a nice long weekend?
Yeah, I suppose so. I saw that other people who got Administrative Processing on Wednesday had their status change to Issued later that day or the next day. I hope mine will change too, soon. Hopefully on Tuesday

Thank you all for your replies! My case has now gone from 'refused' to 'administrative processing' I'm guessing that means they have received the medical?
Hi! My case has also gone from refused to administrative processing on the 26th (same reason, waiting for medical). Do you have any updates about your case? Has your visa been issued yet?
thank you

@stephbd I-751 has to be approved in order to have N-400 approved. My I-751 was verbally approved by the officer at the interview, but the status changed online on November 7, actually about 2 hours after I had my oath notice sent. Never received a 10-year green card since I was scheduled for oath, only the letter in the mail saying my I-751 was approved.
