I feel your pain!
We had a situation whereby we needed my Panamanian born wifes certificates from the authorities in Panama. Luckily my wife still has relatives there however Panama was in an almost complete Lockdown. We emailed a letter authorising the bearer (her aunt) to be given the certs. The certs then had to be couriered to us in UK then translated. Total cost was around 500! Then we didnt need them 😂😂😂
Hey ho.....pleased you have found a workaround🙂
Good luck.

Hi friends.
Anyone have an estimation of how long it takes to have passport returned via DX courier if the visa is approved at interview?
Trying to think about flights. Cheers x

Eurgh! I am so sorry. It is sooooo frustrating. Like banging head against the wall. I am just bloody hoping I get this number and get my medical/interview done before another lockdown starts 🙏 good luck to us!!

It is a most peculiar system which is in place.
Nothing can be done about it. Venting here can help.🙂
Enjoy your weekend everyone👍

No I didn't do anything other than send emails which were just replied with the usual "please wait to hear from us". I made a few calls which also ended with me not talking to anyone so nothing in the way of expediting.
Fingers crossed yours arrives really shortly as well.

Obsessively following you and the rest of the gang waiting for this mystical number. 😢
my morning routine involves me checking the forum to see who has got their number so to give me hope ours is on the way. Surely they wouldn’t have lost the few people who applied for DCF in its dying moments- is what I keep telling myself. Haha.

Captains star log day 7,467.
I awaited the post man to arrive with news of a LND number. Instead I got a dominos pizza menu. Could be worse I suppose.

I think that's a slightly unfair thing to say. I got my I-130 approval on March 16th. That's nearly 6 months ago. When other people who got their I-130 approvals in June and July are getting their LND numbers and booking interview dates, you can see my frustration and worry that something isn't quite right. In the mean time I'm now sitting here waiting for a letter, which I'm pretty sure isn't coming, to arrive in the post with my LND number.
I've explained in my emails that one of the reason for us relocating to the US is because my wife's father has alzheimers and we dont know how long he has left, it goes on deaf ears and isn't even acknowledge. Just the same old "due to covid there are delays etc etc". I GET THERE ARE DELAYS! but can someone just take a second to actually read what I have written and take 30 seconds to just look into my case. There appears to be zero assistance to us and I really dont know where to go from here.

Nearing 20 weeks since petition approval. Feeling so enraged today by the ineptitude and the impact this is having on families. So infuriating that there is no way to hold them accountable for this sham! 😡 PLEASE UNIVERSE help us all out this week!

You're not alone in the wait.
My I-130 was approved March 16 and I still have nothing, I understand there are delays, but this is just getting increasingly frustrating and silly now. Not really sure what to do .....

Hey. I don't seem to have a number on my approval. Do you have a number for me? I think I need to start really pestering someone as we enter our 20th week waiting. 😆

Why aren’t this people interviewing quizzing everybody in sight? My wife would be 😂
So, is the mail coming in daily? Why aren’t you sending out case numbers? Who does that job? Is everybody back to work? Are some furloughed? How many days a week do you have interviews? What do you do the other days?

Hello and welcome,
Just to double check - you are the UK citizen beneficiary and your husband is the US citizen petitioner right? Even if his visa expires and he has to return to the US at the end of the July, this won't affect processing of your spouse visa. The only time-point where the location of the petitioner matters is at the time you submit the I-130. Since your I-130 has already been approved, your husband is free to return to the US.

Exactly as both the above stated. Once the I-130 is approved, the US citizen can move back over to the US while the rest of the process is being completed.

Welcome to the group of LND waiters! Your I-130 date is the same as mine and another in this post. We’ve not had ours yet either, so safety in numbers!
As os306 has stated, you’re good and can continue the process after your husband has moved back now the I-130 is approved.
