If you want specifics then its best to find a fellow kiwi who has already gone before you with the same visa. Looking at information from other consulate may or may be the same. I am unaware of any consulate requiring 3 years tax, most consulates care about current income only.
(3 years tax information is typically for self employed individuals )
Thank you so much @payxibka for taking the time and helping out!!

This is what is specifically said on the P3:
”Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, from your US citizen sponsor) - download from www.uscis.gov > FORMS”

Just because they are not online doesn't mean they don't have instructions. Often times instructions are emailed along with other requirements after the petition is in country
Thanks @payxibka!! I did look through the P3 for Auckland in the New Zealand sub forum and all it said was to provide I-134 with supporting evidence without explicitly naming what supporting evidence is required.

Thanks @Ed&Midori1031 great advice.
@payxibka, the consulate is Auckland in New Zealand. I checked out the website but there are no specific instructions. I did check Japan and the Phillipines and their embassy sites have a whole lot more info about what they need as supporting evidence with the I-134 which didn’t help hahaha.

Hi all,
We are preparing for when we get an interview with the embassy in Auckland and we’re wondering whether we can just have the latest tax transcript as the supporting evidence for form I-134.
There are a few different posts saying just tax transcript is fine and others saying to bring 3 years tax transcript and employment letter and W-2 and bank statements.
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks everyone

Hi all,
I’m just wondering how much evidence is needed for the I-134 Affidavit of Support at the Auckland consulate.
I see that other consulates have a checklist requiring tax returns and employer letters etc. Would just pay slips and tax returns be enough or would gathering everything be required? -
Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah I think I’ll get it done before the medical.

Hey all,
I’m waiting around for the NOA2 for the K1 visa and was wondering if it’s worth going to my GP to get any missing vaccinations now or to just wait and get it at the medical with a panel physician.
Any New Zealand perspectives would be helpful but if anyone could chime in that would be helpful.
