Good day, 2 quick questions: have anyone travelled or hear of anyone who travelled recently that had to do a covid test as a requirement to travel?
Is it ok to pay for my greencard 2 days before I travel?

I'm sorry 😔 That's a shame. They said they would reduce services, so why not reduce the # of appointments per day rather than cancel all? This is ppl's livelihood that's being affected. SMH.
Ikr, this is really heartbreaking 😞. I don't understand why they would cancel all the interview, why not halt the issuing of appointments and spacing out the appointments they currently have scheduled (by rescheduling them). 😕 sigh

Good afternoon. That is not required here. Some states like NY require 14 day quarantine.
Ok thanks

Hey guys, did anyone hear of persons being required to take a covid 19 test before they can fly to the US?

Just a phone call. No other notifications.
I would still go and let them turn me back. The embassy usually follow up their phone calls with an email, so that's kinda weird that u only got a call.
S.N. People can be very messy

Oh boy, I am really praying there won't be any long delays smh

How long does the 221g take after send in the required document?
Based on what I have read it's usually 30 to 60 days. If you don't hear from them after 60 days reach out to the embassy

Per DOS:
Important Notice for K visa applicants affected by COVID-19
Last Updated: August 31, 2020Effective August 28, as it becomes safe to resume more consular operations at each U.S. mission, posts are authorized to give K visa cases high priority. Applicants should check the website of their nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate for updates on what services that post is currently able to offer. The I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) is typically valid for four months; however, consular officers may revalidate the I-129F petition in four month increments. For most cases impacted by the suspension of routine visa services or COVID-19 travel restrictions it will not be necessary to file a new I-129F petition.
So hang in there. Also, US Embassy JA is due to have a live broadcast via Nationwide 90 FM on facebook today. Follow them on FB. Watch for updates, ask questions in the comments or call
8766309371, 8766309372, 8766309373, 8766309374 or 8766188255 to ask the COs directly during the live broadcast.
Hi Stacey what time today?

Ours is Monday. But we already know we will be denied and will need a waiver.
@Seakret20 how did it go today? Did anyone else do their interview today?

I just want to take a moment to personally thank @Stacey Ann for not only creating this post but also being diligent to answering each and everyone of our questions. No matter how repetitive and/or tedious they were. Stacey you have created a place for us not only to get valuable information but also to share our experiences so others don’t have to stumble like we did. Thank you for posting links, and screen shots of where to find/retrieve information. I know for a fact that your answers are not only coming from your own experience, but from others who’ve already been through the process and your complete use of common sense. Go on girl! You doing a great service! Now guys be keen to read post prior before asking questions 😉
She really is exceptional 😊

I got approved. They didn’t ask for i864. They asked for pics but I didn’t have any. She said I’ll get my passport within 1-2weeks.
Did they ask you for the 2019 transcript?

Please tell us how it went...what docs did they request/keep? What questions were you asked? Was there anything about your case that had you worried or particularly nervous? Did it come up?
Yes m eager to know what's the deal with the 1040 vs the transcript

This is actually the same situation we’re in. It says refused but he told us it would until the medical updates in their system. So no worries, just email.
Ok thanks so much, I will let her know

Honestly I would tell friend to follow up the only best answer is from the embassy but normally when that happens applicant should be ok if the medical goes well but if medical fails then that’s another story. But I really hope they hear back something soon 🙏🏽🤞🏽
I guess if her medical went south they probably would have informed her by now
Just now, Chrissy & Junior said:I guess if her medical went south they probably would have informed her by now
So just gonna tell her to get an update from the embassy via email
