    Hi guys, pls help! My I-485 denial notice hasn’t come and it’s been 21 days (my lawyers moved) and I’m suspecting that I haven’t been receiving USCIS notices such as medical request and now they denied me after a year of I-360 been approved. I have filled out e-request to get denial notice but don’t know when that will arrive. Question: do you guys think I should just file a new I-485 form? How long will it take to process? My Priority date on denied I485 is in 2019. Or should I wait for denial notice and reopen the case? Thank you! @Sandra G.

    It’s been 10 days now and no denial notice for me. Has anyone dealt with missing mail here? After I fill out online form to resend the mail do they extend my deadline for the response? I heard I only have 30 days since the first notice. Thank you.

    Hi guys, I filed my denied I485 (still waiting on why) in NYC, had my “hold in abeyance” interview in NYC during Covid but I moved to Miami during Covid and changed my address back then and changed back to NYC a year ago when I came back. Now, my senator said my denial came from MIAMI field office… are denials come from the field office or Vermont? Why is my denial coming from Miami and not NYC where I filed, interviewed and moved back?

    Still waiting on my notice explaining the i485 denial and meanwhile trying to schedule a medical appointment. I called 2 places, one cost $150 and the other cost $500 (both with insurance). My first medical appointment I don’t remember drawing blood but the $500 appointment said that’s why it’s so expensive. I’m sure you guys all had medicals, is there a particular thing or price I should be looking for?

    I just emailed my lawyers asking if they ever received RFE for my 485. If they did, they wouldn’t tell me - that much I know

    The status online never changed but they have 2 addresses where they usually send mail and my personal hasn’t gotten anything and my lawyers probably not either but they have not been telling me about any mail I receive I only find out from my personal.

    No idea at all. Everything was filled out right etc. the only thing I could guess at this point is that they denied me without requesting RFE for medicals.. my medicals are over 4 years when I applied. But I was hoping they will give RFE for that.

    Yes, I had an interview where I asked to hold the application in abeyance. All the application documents where properly filled out and I don’t have any unlawful presence etc..

    I know I’m hoping it’s something not hard to fix.. but I didn’t get any RFEs, intends to deny etc. just straight up denial.

    Thank you! on a different note guys, I’m preparing for my denial to arrive and I followed up with my lawyers to send me my i360 approval notice (lawyers lost it before). They have sent it to me and I also received a Deferred Action note from them. What is that? It is valid for 3 more months. They never sent me any of these documents.

    I will see what the reason for denial is and then hopefully can re apply again. Can it be that they can “unapprove” my VAWA with I485 denial? Or my VAWA approval can’t be reversed and is basis for a new application?

    Guys, I requested my senator to inquire about my I485 card (my VAWA case was approved a year ago) and today I got an update that my I485 was denied. Has anyone had this before? Why is it denied and what do I do now?

    Time flies guys! I feel like only yesterday I was applying for EAD extension but its was 2 years ago and now its the time to get another extension. I don't remember (or my brain blacked it out) but how do we get the fee waiver? I don't remember filling out the form to request a fee waiver and my extension will be based on a pending i485 application. Anyone can remind me of the extension process again please?

    Just called USCIS to schedule an Infopass appointment and it turns out we are not eligible for appointment since our cases are based on special situation. They said to mail Vermont my question

    I am sorry I meant to say 1 year after my Vawa approval and still no green card. I sent it along with I-130 and then asked to hold in abeyance. The status now says "your interview was scheduled ... in 2020". Never inquired further..

    Hi everyone! Quick question on unemployment - maybe some of you experienced the process of applying for it and going through GC interview. I am still in the process of awaiting my green card interview/mail, VAWA approved. I was recently separated from my firm and wanted to apply for unemployment insurance. Are there any repercussions going forward with immigration if I did that?

    Hi all - just checking in here Hope everyone is doing well and we got a lot more approvals since I last wrote here! I am still waiting on any status change myself. As a reminder, I got approval notice Sept 2022 (precisely 24 months after the file date) and now waiting on the next steps. However I got a few weird status changes "I130 was transferred to a new jurisdiction... why??" and "correspondence was received on my I360 already after I got approval". No changes on my I485. Hope to hear about my i485 soon! Can't wait to not renew my advanced parole haha
