All, I just received yesterday notification for the interview appointment for my 5-year based N-400. Please see timeline below:

    Applied: 1/29/2024

    NOA: 1/29/2024

    Biometrics scheduled: 2/3/2024

    Biometrics appointment: 2/20/2024

    Interview scheduled: 3/1/2024

    Interview date: 4/4/2024

Estimate time has been 7 months most of the time, dropped to 3 months after the biometrics and is back to 7 months after scheduling the interview. I hope it helps y’all.

Wow, how so fast? Did you apply before your 5-year anniversary?
    I applied on January 31st.
My biometrics appointment was on February 20th and I'm still waiting for them to schedule my appointment.

  2. Hi guys,

In case my expedite request will be approved and I will get an interview, how long after do I need to move on to the USA according to the date in the approval document? Days after? Weeks after? Or it's the same-6 months after the medical exam? I just need to know in order to quit the job on time.

Someone here had this case before?

    Thanks a lot!

  3. The embassy is still not processing anything yet.

The website page still shows the same message-

In response to significant worldwide challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of State has temporarily suspended routine visa services at all U.S. Embassies and Consulates. Embassies and consulates have canceled all routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments as of March 20, 2020, but will continue to provide emergency and mission-critical visa services as resources and local conditions allow.  We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time.

I'm waiting for an update too. :(

  4. Hi, I was recommended to add a joint sponsor onto the I-864 form after we got the QD and I am trrying to understand how best to do it. I just get the sponsor to fill out the same form I already did again? Also, I didnt declare my assets as the petitionor or sponsor, since they are questioning my income level, should I fill it out again with that information?

    Thanks!

  5. hello,

After the embassy interview, I understand they will give me the approval on my visa and I should get a package to show at the USA border when I land, is it right?

can I finish all process and not move right away? there is a  deadline for moving to the USA after the interview?

    thank you!

    They are working.

My petition was approved last week, and on Saturday I received an email from NVC with my CN and IIN.

I assume they are individually processing paperwork and there isn't someone walking around everyone's cubicles to update the tracking.  Nor are people going to status meetings to make those updates.

    When did u submit?
